Restoration of 3-MW Power House in Misgar Valley

The 3-MW power house in Misgar Valley had been non-operational for several days due to ice formation in the water supply channel during the harsh winter season.
This closure caused significant challenges for the residents of Misgar, as the power plant is the main source of electricity for the entire Hunza region.

Today, the resilient people of Misgar, in a collaborative effort, took the initiative to address this issue. Under the supervision of local authorities, including the area magistrate, Axen, and Aari, villagers came together to remove the ice blockage.
Their collective hard work paid off as the water supply was successfully restored, enabling the power plant to resume operations.

This commendable campaign highlights the unity and determination of the people of Misgar in ensuring the well-being of their community, despite the challenges posed by the harsh winter climate.

This is wonderful news for the people of Misgar! A C-Class dispensary project, initially planned for the village, faced delays due to various reasons and was at risk of being abandoned as its deadline approached this year. However, one of our great brother (late) Mr. Farman Haji’s family stepped forward with remarkable generosity, providing their own land to ensure the project's success.

The people of Misgar are profoundly grateful for this noble gesture. We extend our heartfelt prayers for the family, asking Allah Almighty to bless them abundantly for their selflessness.

Today marked a significant milestone as the foundation stone of the dispensary was officially laid. The ceremony was attended by government officials, community leaders, Misgar elders, and other locals.
InshaAllah, this project will bring lasting benefits to the people of Misgar, serving as a beacon of hope and progress for the region.

Connectivity Challenges in Misgar Village:
A Call for a Permanent Solution:📣

Following the recent shutdown of mobile signals and internet services in Misgar village, only mobile services have been partially restored. However, internet connectivity remains suspended, causing significant difficulties for the residents. Among those most affected are students relying on online classes, whose education has been severely disrupted.🪧

The people of Misgar urge the in-charge of the Special Communication Organization (SCO) to address this issue and find a permanent solution. Every winter, this problem recurs, isolating the village from the rest of the world and leaving its communication infrastructure inoperative.🗓️

A practical solution lies in utilizing the optical fiber network, which passes just a few kilometers from the village. Connecting Masgar to this network would ensure reliable internet connectivity, providing long-term relief to the community and enhancing their quality of life.🔎🔍

We, the residents of Misgar, respectfully request the SCO to prioritize this issue and implement the optical fiber connection for the village. Your attention and action in this regard will greatly alleviate the challenges faced by the people here.💡

گزشتہ 15 دنوں سے مسگر میں نصب ڈیجیٹل ایکسچینج اور ٹاور پر موجود ٹرانسفارمر کے آؤٹ پٹ سپلائی میں شارٹ سرکٹ کے باعث سگنلز مکمل طور پر بند ہیں۔ اس خرابی کی وجہ سے نہ صرف کمیونیکیشن سسٹم بلکہ انٹرنیٹ سروس بھی معطل ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں علاقے کے عوام کو شدید مشکلات کا سامنا ہے۔
آن لائن کلاسز لینے والے طلبہ و طالبات سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہو رہے ہیں، کیونکہ ان کی تعلیمی سرگرمیاں بری طرح متاثر ہو چکی ہیں۔ مزید برآں، علاقے میں کسی بھی قسم کی کنیکٹوٹی نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے لوگ اپنے روزمرہ کے اہم امور سرانجام دینے سے قاصر ہیں۔
ہم متعلقہ حکام اور SCO (سپیشل کمیونیکیشن آرگنائزیشن) سے مودبانہ درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ فوری طور پر اس مسئلے پر توجہ دی جائے۔ خرابی کی مرمت کرکے کمیونیکیشن اور انٹرنیٹ نظام کو بحال کیا جائے تاکہ عوام کو درپیش مشکلات کا خاتمہ ہو سکے۔

All those students from Misgar who are currently studying in various colleges, universities and schools in the cities of Pakistan and are unable to meet their educational expenses are requested to fill out this scholarship form according to their qualifications and abilities and send it to the number and email address given below as soon as possible.
This scholarship will be considered for students from 5th class to graduation and also for Masters and PhD students will be considered for this scholarship.🏦
There is a capacity for about 100 students

The 88th Birthday of Prince Karim Aga Khan was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Misgar Center Jamaat Khana in the village of Hunza, in which the Jamat Mukhi, Kamidya Sahiban, Volunteers, young, elders of the Jamaat, and various institutions participate. And cake was also cut.
