Today, during a bonfire event at Kips College in Gujranwala, four students got burned when the fire suddenly got out of control. This incident occurred while the bonfire was being organized, and the flames unexpectedly became uncontrollable. As a result, the affected students received immediate medical attention. This is a tragic situation, and it is hoped that the administration will improve safety measures for future events to prevent such accidents from happening again.

The ambient air quality has improved in most districts of Punjab, due to rain in upper parts of Punjab, change in wind direction and speed. Therefore, all the educational institutions, except Lahore and Multan Divisions, shall be opened w.e.f. 19-11-2024 (Tuesday) with physical presence of students/staff with following restrictions/precautionary measures:
i. All the educational institutions in these districts shall observe school opening timings not before 08:45 AM.
ii. All the students/staff shall wear face masks.
ill. There shall be a complete ban on outdoor sports and outdoor co-curricular
activities till further orders.
iv. All educational institutions shall introduce class wise school closing timing to
avoid traffic congestions.
