The brave volunteer mountaineers from Arandu, Shigar, have once again demonstrated that service to humanity comes before personal gain.

During a mountaineering expedition on Spantik Peak, a lady doctor tragically lost her life. The dedicated volunteers took it upon themselves to recover her body from the challenging mountainous terrain and safely return it to her family.

What makes their effort even more commendable is that a private tourism company had reportedly demanded PKR 3 million for the recovery operation. However, the Shigar volunteers carried out this difficult and noble mission selflessly, without seeking any financial reward.

Their courage, compassion, and commitment to humanity deserve the highest respect. These are the real heroes of the mountains. 🏔️❤️🇵🇰
