⚠ "Will AI take your place?

Perhaps not. However, someone better at using it might."

▫ Managing multiple design projects at once was difficult for me when I initially started in 2018.

▫ It took a lot of time to balance customer expectations, complete intricate changes, and meet tight deadlines. Everything changed when artificial intelligence entered the picture.

▫ I can now oversee multiple clients while maintaining quality and finding time for creative thinking. My skills were enhanced by AI, not replaced.

▫ I'd want to tell you how you can follow suit. I'll be releasing a video tutorial soon that demonstrates how AI can be effortlessly integrated into your design workflow to save you time and still produce excellent outcomes.

There are various kinds of contributors in every team or sector. However, how can you determine your position?

I ask myself that question quite a bit. I've learned over time that, depending on the value we contribute, everyone of us fits into one of three categories.

There are people who only perform the barest minimal. They do what they are told and do assignments, but they show little initiative. Not requiring any additional work. (Bottom)

in the middle, these are the consistent performers. They complete tasks efficiently, pay great attention to instructions, and fulfill deadlines. Beyond that, though, they don't challenge convention. (Mid)

Lastly, we have the creative thinkers. These are the people who improve the project rather than just following the guidelines. Without being asked, they provide fresh perspectives, solve problems, and provide unanticipated benefits. (TOP)

We all fit into one of three groups as freelancers, and knowing your place in the group can make all the difference in the world.

Let's dissect it:

Level C independent contractors? They are minimally sufficient. They do as directed, do their tasks, and clock out. There's nothing more, though, no additional consideration or refinement, beyond that.

Level B freelancers perform the work correctly. They deliver precisely what is required, adhere to deadlines, and follow directions. Although they are trustworthy, their job only goes as far as it is asked.

The top layer of freelancers is represented by Level A. They go above and above in addition to following directions. These are the independent contractors that enhance the work, bring something extra, and continually go above and beyond.

The first step to leveling up is realizing where you are.
