It is a matter of pride for Institute of Professional Studies and the area of Bajaur Agency itself that the name of IP|S has been included in the list of unique and pioneer institute of the area. After its establishment in Feb, 2006 under its Board of Directors meeting at Khar Bajaur Agency, the IP|S had to come across a lot of challenges in implementation of its system of education which was almost alien to the vast populace of the area, providing quality education to the masses at their door-steps through formal & non-formal system of education in keeping with the charter of the institution was a herculean task indeed. Beginning with deficient material and equipment, the IP|S is now the well-known institution in the area with 10+ courses and about 200 students. With the developments in science and information technology, new vistas of knowledge have been opened and as a result, demand for new programmes has increased manifold especially in the field of science and technology. To keep pace with changing scenario of the “global village”, the IP|S has launched new Diploma programmes of Financial Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Project Management and Management Information system etc. Its enrolment has been increased and technological services have been improved. IP|S provides high standard & quality education at very low cost and many students completed their education while staying at their jobs.
