Magno: 2025 national budget, pinaka-corrupt na budget sa kasaysayan ng bansa

Diniin ni former Marcos, Jr. administration DOF Undersecretary Cielo Magno na ang 2025 budget is ang pinaka-corrupt na budget sa kasaysayan ng bansa, dahil ang priority ay ang interes ng mga politiko at hindi ang bansa.

"Ito na ata ang pinaka-corrupt na budget sa history ng Pilipinas dahil kitang-kita na ‘yung nangingibabaw sa budget na ito ay ‘yung interes ng mga politiko, hindi ‘yung interes ng taong-bayan," ani ni Prof. Cielo.

Duterte: 'Palsipikasyon sa 2025 bicam report, kasalanan sa batas'

Sanabi ni dating Pangulong Rody Duterte na ang isang 'fragmented' o hindi kumpletong report ng bicameral committee para sa 2025 budget ay paglabag sa batas.

"If it is fragmented or incomplete, that is not a valid budget for implementation as law. That is falsification of law. Perjury ‘yan or whatever, forgery, and it can only amount to one thing — criminal action. You can all go to jail for that. Mabigat ‘yan, public document na ‘yan," wika ni Duterte.

Rep. Ungab: 'Who filled in the blanks after ratification?'

After showing to the public that the bicameral report for the 2025 budget had 28 blank spaces, Davao City 3rd District Rep. Isidro Ungab is now raising the question as to who filled in the blanks after the report's ratification.

"13 pages with 28 blank items in the Bicam report, signed by the bicam members and ratified by Congress. Who filled in the blanks after the ratification? That’s the main issue. You cannot just disregard it!" said Rep. Ungab.

Nagulat si Davao City 3rd District Rep. Isidro Ungab sa nakita niya sa bicameral report na mga blanko sa kanyang pagsuri sa sabing documento, dahil aabot sa 28 na blanko ang nakita niya.

"Pagtingin ko sa budget sa bicam report, which was sent to us through email, nakita ko na yung blanko sa lith page (SP 11). Na-shock ako, tiningnan ko muna na lahat. Actually, all in all, there are 13 pages, a total of 28 blank items, which will amount to billions of pesos," ani ng representante.

Sen. Go: 'Bigyang importansya ang papel ng magulang sa paghubog ng kabataan'

Diin ni Senator B**g Go na kanyang binibigyang halaga ang kultura, relihiyon, at paniniwala ng mga Pilipino sa bawat panukalang kanyang isinusulong at sinusuportahan. Naging pahayag ito ng senador matapos bawiin niya ang suporta sa 'Anti-Teen Pregnancy' bill na isinusulong ni Senator Risa Hontiveros.

"Bilang isang mambabatas, palagi kong binibigyan ng halaga ang paniniwala, relihiyon, at kultura ng bawat polisiya na isinusulong," ani ni Sen. Go.

"Hindi ako sang-ayon sa anumang panukala na makakasira sa halaga ng pamilya, salungat sa pananampalataya, ata salungat sa ating mga kababayan," paninindigan ng senador.

"Pagdating sa paghubog ng kabataan, bigyan dapat ng importansya ang papel ng pamilya. Huwag idikta kung ano ang ituturo sa mga bata," kanyang pagtatapos.

Rep. Ungab, ikinagulat ang mga blanko sa bicam report

Ikinagulat ni Davao City 3rd District Representative Isidro Ungab ang mga blankong line items sa bicam report na aprubado ng mga mambabatas sa dalawang kongreso. Kanyang diin, unang beses ito nangyari sa labing-lima niyang taong nakaupo bilang miyembro ng Kongreso.

"This never happened before. Twice ako naging chairman ng Appropriations, apat na budget ang aking napasa noon. Naging head din ako ng Bicameral Conference Committee," wika ni Rep. Ungab.

"During my time, wala talaga akong maalala at never nagka-controversy d’yan. I have been in Congress for 15 years already. Ngayon lang talaga nangyari na may blank items ang bicam," dagdag pa ng kongresista.

Rep. Ungab: Sinu-supress ng leadership ng Congress and opposition

Sinabi ni Davao City Third District Rep. Isido Ungab na maliwanag na sinu-supress ng mga namumuno sa House of Representatives ang mga hindi sumasangayon sa kanila, at ngayon lang niya ito namasdan sa buong karera niya bilang mambabatas.

“First time ko rin nakita ito na leadership sa Congress na pag hindi ka sasang-ayon sa kanila-if you start talking against what they are saying, sinu-supress talaga nila opposition,” sabi ni Rep. Ungab.

“Tatanggalan ka ng position, tatanggalan ka ng whatsoeer para tumahimik ka,” dagdag niya.

Atty. Panelo: Anti-Duterte legislators now reluctant after INC rally

Former presidential spokesperson Atty. Salvador "Sal Panalo” Panelo said that lawmakers who were pushing hard for the impeachment of Vice President Inday Sara Duterte are now reluctant after the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) National Rally held last Jan. 13, because they now fear backlash in the 2025 May polls.

“Another consequence of the enormous people gathering was the apparent reluctance of previous vociferous legislators pushing for the impeachment VP Sara. Some of them are saying now that there might not be sufficient time. Obviously, they are afraid of the backlash that will affect their reelection bids,” said Atty. Panelo in a newspaper column.

“The political tremors have started, and the big ones are forthcoming unless the powers-that-be begin to see the handwriting on the wall, and change their wicked ways and assault on the Constitution,” he added.
