Misa ng Pasko ng Pagsilang ng Panginoon sa DYCI

The DYCIan community, together with parents, friends, guests, came together in joyful celebration of the Nativity of our Lord.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Mario Jose Ladra, Parish Priest of St. Martin of Tours Parish, Poblacion, Bocaue, Bulacan.

In his homily, Fr. Ladra reminded us of the invitation brought by Pope Francis as he opens the Jubilee of Hope and the Jubilee Door of St. Peter’s Basilica this Christmas. We, too, are called to open significant doors in our hearts and lives:
1.) The Door of Giving – to share our blessings with those in need.
2.) The Door of Thanksgiving – to show gratitude for God’s grace and goodness.
3.) The Door of Forgiving – to heal and reconcile broken relationships.

From the DYCI family, thank you to everyone who served and joined us for the Simbang Gabi and Christmas Eve Mass. May the light of Christ fill your hearts with peace, love, and joy! Merry Christmas!

Day 9 of Simbang Gabi sa DYCI

DYCIans, together with their parents, friends, guests, and parishioners of St. Martin of Tours Parish, gathered for the culminating celebration of Simbang Gabi. The Mass was presided over by Mons. Albert Suatengco, Parish Priest of the Minor Basilica and Parish of La Purisima Concepcion, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

In his homily, Mons. Suatengco reflected on the encounter of Mary, Elizabeth, and John the Baptist, offering valuable lessons as we prepare to welcome Christ into our lives:
1. Magbahagi – Like Mary, share the Good News of God’s love, His hope, and His generosity with those around us.
2. Makibahagi – Like Elizabeth, rejoice with others and celebrate their blessings, for their joy reflects God’s grace.
3. Mapagpala – Like John, recognize that God is gracious and ever-present, always taking the initiative to come to us and remain with us.

The night’s festivities were made even more meaningful by a lively Christmas presentation from the DYCI Dagalak. Special thanks to the sponsors of the Mass: the Grade 12 students and the College of Arts and Sciences, for their unwavering support and dedication.

As Simbang Gabi concludes, we invite everyone to join us tomorrow, December 24 at 5:00 PM, for the Christmas Eve Mass, where we will celebrate the Nativity of our Lord. Arrive early and witness the Panunuluyan presentation by the DYCI Dance Troupe, a beautiful reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem.

Let us continue to embrace the spirit of faith, love, and hope this Christmas season. Tara na’t magsimba at magdiwang kasama ang DYCI!
