Our product is known in Mauban, Quezon as one of what we called "Pang Masa na Ulam". This is very common ulam during Santol season and we can also call this as “Pambansang ulam” in our town if tag santol days. You can also buy it anywhere in the market in our place. Even those who visits our place appreciates the taste, until such time that those who visits our place or having a vacation there always think what is good Pasalubong aside from Tikoy, then we started to think how we can make it presentable as gifts or pasalubong. At first the owner/chef, Ms. Ma. Corazon Tampoc who is a very dear friend of mine started to sell it in her community, neighbors, friends and relatives around Calamba, Laguna, never expected a high demand in Metro Manila as we now put it in the market through online selling it is very overwhelming that it is highly appreciated in the middle and upper class society. Never expected to have a lot of "Yayamanin Satisfied Client". But this does’nt mean that our product is expensive as it taste, anyone can afford to buy, as we sells it as “Swak sa iyong pang Lasa sa presyong kayang kaya”.
We Maubanin can proudly says “Durung Sarap or Yanung Sarap ng Binalawang Santol”.
