We are thrilled to announce the contract signing for the highly anticipated second edition of the "Laboratory Manual in General Pathology and Histopathologic Techniques."

Authored by Prof. Maria Ruth B. Pineda-Cortel, PhD, Chair of the Univesity of Santo Tomas (UST) Department of Medical Technology; Assoc. Prof. Rowen T. Yolo, MD; and Asst. Prof. Gamaliel Issamar S. De Vera, MSMT, this edition aims to deliver updated content designed to advance the learning experience for students and educators in pathology and medical technology.

The event took place on Monday, December 16, at the UST Faculty of Pharmacy Medical Technology and Biochemistry Building and was graced by Prof. Aleth Therese L. Dacanay, PhD, Dean of the UST Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Ma. Frieda Z. Hapan, Head of the UST Textbook and Learning Materials Committee; and lecturers from the UST Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Medical Technology.

C&E Publishing, Inc. proudly renewed its partnership with the authors of the "Human Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory Manual (Fifth Edition)." Ms. Jocelyn Domingo, Dr. Ma. Frieda Z. Hapan, and Ms. Ma. Gina M. Sadang signed the contract on Thursday, December 12, in the College of Pharmacy Conference Room at the University of Santo Tomas.

This manual builds on the success of its first four editions, also published by C&E Publishing.

The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Renz Kenneth G. Cadiang, MS, Assistant Dean of the UST Faculty of Pharmacy; UST Textbook and Learning Materials Committee officers; members from the UST Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Medical Technology; and class presidents of first-year medical technology students.
