It’s funny. The less I have, the more happier I become ✨

I spent my teenage years living off paycheck to paycheck, trying to pay all my bills while working an underpaid job and going to school. I grew up thinking “money buys happiness” but why did I feel so depressed and miserable making money?

In 2015, Jan and I flew out to Florida. The first time I ever set foot on a beach, I was captivated by the ocean and I instantly knew that it was going to be a big part of my life. After that trip, my love for adventure grew and grew. I began to travel even though I was struggling to make ends meet. I was basically travelling broke.. But let me tell you, I was the happiest I’d ever been in my life.

Travelling teaches you something you will never be able to learn in school. And that is it’s more important to be HAPPY than to be rich.

Fast forward to today, I am (still) no millionare 🤪 But man do I feel filthy rich on experiences.
