For Seph’s 4th birthday, my husband and I asked him what he wanted to do. His response was clear: "I WANT TO OPEN MY PRESENTS." When we suggested having a party, he simply repeated, "I WANT TO OPEN MY PRESENTS."

So, instead of throwing a big birthday party, we decided on a more intimate gathering with the people who are always there for him. We took him to and let him pick out all the gifts he wanted.

It was his first time pushing a trolley around the store, and he took his time selecting each gift carefully.

When it comes to the food, the soup stocks are flavorful, setting the stage for a satisfying hot pot adventure. While the variety of veggies is commendable, a welcomed addition like water crest would elevate the experience further. Similarly, expanding the meat options beyond beef would cater better to non-beef enthusiasts.

The restaurant’s spacious layout provides ample room for diners to enjoy their meals without feeling cramped. However, it’s worth noting that it operates on a self-service basis, allowing guests to tailor their dining experience to their preferences.

In terms of pricing, at 699 pesos per adult and 499 pesos per kid, with children aged 3 and below dining for free, Jin Shabu Aguirre offers reasonable rates for a hot pot feast. Overall, while there’s room for improvement in terms of variety, the restaurant provides a comfortable setting and tasty fare for a satisfying dining experience.

Celebrating Papsie’s birthday at a very posh japanese restaurant in solaire.

Remembered vividly how my children was welcomed with the stench of the ci******es along their lobby area heading to Yakumi. Which was very unpleasant memory for us as we dont really visit that hotel. Now made me remember why we avoid it.

On a positive note, our experience at YAKUMI was pleasant. Although the ambience and the location were great the food was somewhat pricey, and the portion sizes were more suited for individuals. The sushi selection was also limited, and we’ve had better Japanese dining experiences elsewhere.

Food: While breakfast menus often fail to impress, The Fatted Calf delivers familiar dishes with a twist, showcasing top-notch kitchen techniques and impeccable presentation.

Price: Portions are generously sized for two and are appropriately priced between 400-500++, offering excellent value for money.

Service: Staff are strategically stationed for easy accessibility while respecting the privacy of diners, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Overall: The Fatted Calf leaves a lasting impression, prompting us to eagerly anticipate returning to sample their Lunch/Dinner offerings. Plates returned to the kitchen wiped clean, a testament to the exceptional quality of the cuisine.

We usually let our kids join us for grocery shopping, however we let them stay when we go to wet markets. Aside for it to be very crowded, it’s quite dirty and messy.

However bringing our kids to NASUGBU PUBLIC MARKET for the first time made their experience and exposing them was a breeze. As their wet market was quite neat and organized. Though it was hot, nonethelessthe kids enjoyed and was very excited to see fresh produce.

We let our daughter pay to practice her practical math skills.
