𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to the PDRRMC Advisory No. 01 issued today, September 1, 2024, the Province of Camarines Sur is under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1. From this afternoon through Monday, September 2, Tropical Depression "Enteng" is expected to bring moderate to heavy, and at times torrential rainfall, particularly in the coastal municipalities.

Classes are suspended in all levels, both public and private, throughout the Province of Camarines Sur, effective September 2, 2024, until lifted.

In accordance with this, Calabanga Community College classes are suspended. Classes will resume when aforementioned suspension is lifted.

| Beginning the academic year 2024-2025 with faith and unity: A Mass of the Holy Spirit at Calabanga Community College conducted earlier that presided by Rev. Fr. Francisco P. Parza III, parish priest of Divine Mercy Parish, Paolbo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

"Upon our learning and upon our teachings during this year. We begin this new school year with a request that we speak the truth to one another in love during this year. The truth is something more than simply the facts of an event. The truth is the mystery that gives meaning to facts. All of us want to be people of truth," said Fr. Parza in his homily, reflecting as we embark on this new school year, we carry with us the lessons and teachings from the past year. Speaking the truth in love is an important value we want to hold onto next year. We need to remember that truth is not just facts about what happened but rather something more—it is a metaphor for greater meaning, mystery suggested by those facts. Our desire would be that we may build a community of honest understanding and mutual respect by striving to understand and share the same deep realization. Let us all strive to be those persons who speak not only the facts but also seek out and proclaim the true meaning of the thing spoken.

| The Seeker Publication released 118 official copies of both the tabloid and literary folio for the school year 2023-2024 at Calabanga Community College (CCC) - Belen Campus, on August 24-25, 2024.

The preparation of the Official Tabloid and Literary Folio started on July 9, 2024, with the aid of the new Editorial Board and Staff for the academic year 2024-2025, under the guidance of Ms. Venus Delos Reyes and Ms. Cherilyn Sta. Ana, The Seeker advisers. The SIRING: CCC Orientation Seminar became the suitable platform to release the tabloid, a compact newspaper that features significant news found inside and outside the institution. Meanwhile, the Literary Folio: Alpas is a unique collection of literary works by CCCean writers. The aforementioned folio was the result of the ALAB Writer's Workshop conducted with the collaboration of The Seeker Publication and the Association of Language and Literature Enthusiasts (ALLIE), held on June 13–14, 2024.

For this achievement, The Seeker Publication expresses gratitude to Calabanga Community College.

May ginawa sana akong awitin para sa‘yo subalit hindi ito patungkol sa pag-ibig.

Nakakaramdam ng pangamba ang aking dibdib. Papakinggan mo kaya?

Kung ito ay isang awitin para sa‘yo upang maipabatid na ang Pilipinas ay nalunod muna sa dugo, binaha ng luha at narindi sa sigaw ng pagmamakawa ng mga kapwa Pilipino bago lumaya.

Kung ang nakapaloob dito ay patungkol sa kung ilang mga sibilyan na walang buhay ang nailatag sa lupa. Mga kababaihang lumuhod nang walang saplot dahil sa panlalapastangan ng mga dayuhan. Mga kabataang namulat sa putok ng baril, nauhaw at nagutom, pinarusahan at inalipin sa sariling lupa.

Kung ito ay patungkol sa mga bayaning ibinuwis ang buhay para sa bayan. Lumaban sa paraan man ng paghawak ng itak at baril o sa pagsulat ng libro at tula.

Papakinggan mo pa kaya o mananatili ka pa rin bingi, kabayan?

| SIRING: CCC Orientation Seminar 2024 Last Day Shifts Gears to Team Building Activities

The morning sun rose over Calabanga Community College (CCC), casting its warm glow on a day filled with excitement in Day 2 of SIRING 2024: The CCC Orientation Seminar, held on August 25, 2024, at the CCC - Hall, headed by Mr. Gilbert A. Filipino, Head of Student Affair and Services.

The morning event buzzed with energy as students, divided into eight groups, participated in a series of engaging activities. Each game was designed to highlight the CCC's core values: commitment, compassion, and competence. The "Commitment" challenge tested teamwork as students collaborated to overcome obstacles. The "Compassion" activity emphasized empathy and understanding the importance of leadership, while the "Competence" game challenged students' coordination with each member. The vibrant atmosphere was a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of the students, who embraced the spirit of collaboration and learning as they engaged in the series of activities. The eight teams were Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Violet, and Brown, each facilitated by a different student organization of the aforementioned school.

The afternoon event shifted gears, showcasing the diverse student organizations at CCC. Each organization presented their missions, activities, and accomplishments, providing a valuable opportunity for new students to learn about potential involvement. Followed by an intermission number from members of Daraw, the CCC Cultural Performing Arts, to further enhance the atmosphere. The afternoon games, a continuation of the morning's excitement, brought laughter and joy to the participants, facilitated by the Student Supreme Council (SSC) of the school. The day culminated with an awarding ceremony, recognizing the winning teams and their impressive teamwork and dedication.

SIRING 2024 CCC Orsem Day 2 was a resounding success, inspiring the first-year students. The event developed a sense of community, highlighted the importance of CCC's core values—commitment, compassion, and competence—and provided a platform for students to connect, learn, and grow. As the day drew to a close, one thing was clear: Orsem Day 2 was more than just an event; it was a celebration of the spirit of Calabanga Community College.

| Calabanga Community College conducts Siring: Orientation Seminar 2024

Calabanga Community College (CCC) welcomes the new batch of students from all programs on day one of SIRING 2024: The CCC General Orientation Seminar held on August 24, 2024, at CCC - Hall, headed by Mr. Gilbert A. Filipino, Head of Student Affair and Services.

The first day of Siring: CCC Orsem brought together students from various programs, providing them with essential information and resources to start their academic journey. CCC came alive as students gathered inside the CCC Pavilion. The event aims to give students knowledge and awareness of how CCC works as an educational institution, including its vision, mission, goals, and objectives, school policies, and other important matters.

The opening was packed with various information brought together by the College Administrator, Dr. Maria DT. Sadia, with the different program heads, instructors, and other key personnel of CCC. And as the students embark on their new journey, CCC extend a warm welcome and guidance, especially to the freshmen, emphasizing the CCC's commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and student success.

SIRING 2024 Day 1 left students with a sense of excitement and anticipation, ready to conquer their new academic journey with minds that were full of knowledge and readiness for the days ahead.

| Mga mag-aaral mula sa kursong Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship - 4th year, nagsimula nang ipamalas ang kanilang galing sa pagnenegosyo.

Ang mga mag-aaral mula sa Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) na nasa ika-apat ng taon sa kolehiyo ay nagsimula na sa kanilang pagpapatupad ng negosyo o business implementation, bilang isa sa mga kinakailangan at mahalagang proyekto sa nasabing kurso, kung kaya't ito ang kanilang ginagawa sa huling taon nila sa pag-aaral sa kolehiyo. Matatagpuan ang kanilang mga negosyo sa canteen ng Calabanga Community College (CCC) - Belen Site at CCC - Market Site.

Ang bagay na ito ay hindi lamang isang proyekto na dapat maipasa o maisagawa. Higit pa rito ang pagpapakahulugan ng mga salitang business implementation. Ito ay may kaakibat na determinasyon, pagsisikap, sipag, at tiyaga. Mula sa pag-iisip ng mga inobasyon para sa negosyong tampok sa komunidad, pagpaplano ng mga dapat gawin at kinakailangan na mga kagamitan at iba pa, pagpupundo, at ang pakikipagsapalaran sa pagpapatupad nito ay higit na nakakahanga.

Ibang klaseng determinasyon ang kanilang ipinapakita para lamang maisakatuparan ito. Dahil dito, makikita natin ang angking galing at talino ng mag-aaral sa CCC sa larangan ng pagnenegosyo.

Kaya't inaanyayahan ang mga mag-aaral na suportahan sila, hindi lamang upang sila'y makapasa, kundi upang makatulong sa pag-abot ng kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay. Patuloy ding suportahan ang ating paaralan, ang Calabanga Community College, na ating kaagapay at nagsisilbing susi upang makamit natin ang ating mga mithiing inaasam-asam.
