The Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) presents the #LagingHandaPH Public Briefing, an inter-agency effort of the PCOO that brings up-to-date and detailed information about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the country.
The program embraces a whole-of-nation approach wherein guest resource persons answer questions on pressing issues, tackle matters of national concern and provide updates on the current public health crisis. They also discuss the efforts being undertaken by the government to mitigate the effects of COVID-19, including the rollout of the vaccination program throughout the Philippines.

Opening of the Philippine National Railways Lucena-San Pablo Commuter Line San Pablo City, Laguna June 25, 2022
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte leads the formal opening of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) Lucena-San Pablo Commuter Line in San Pablo City, Laguna on June 25, 2022.
The President, accompanied by officials from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and PNR, inspects the pre-positioned train and proceeds to the ceremonial ringing of bells, signaling the resumption of operations of the PNR Lucena-San Pablo Commuter Line.
The 44-kilometer inter-provincial commuter railway connects Lucena City in Quezon Province to San Pablo City in Laguna with a travel time of one hour and 30 minutes. It will have two (2) terminal stations and four (4) flag stops in-between, and is envisioned to provide comfortable travel experience to Filipino commuters.
The PNR Lucena-San Pablo Commuter Line is part of the 560-kilometer PNR Bicol Express that links the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metro Manila to Southern Luzon. It is projected to be operational by 2027 with 35 stations traversing through Metro Manila and the provinces of Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon.
