“Basta chicken, KenchicKen” This juicy delicious chicken is not a new concept actually. The founder of KenchicKen loved this particular chicken first at home where his mother would serve this chicken on the table and the whole family would always feel like they were eating at a restaurant. Later on, he developed his own recipe using his knowledge and learnings from his studies and experiences.
For the founder, KenchicKen does not only mean about good food but rather it also symbolizes family. Whenever there is something to celebrate majority of the people especially families will never miss out fried chicken in their menu. The founder established this fried chicken business to reach out to the families especially in the midst of this pandemic (Covid - 19). The main purpose is to let the people continue celebration even in their own homes and to let them feel that they can still celebrate and have a scrumptious meal without going to expensive restaurants. Now, KenchicKen has started to serve fried chicken thru online. People who ordered can either pick - up the product, have it delivered via third party provider i.e (Grab, lalamove) at their own expense or schedule a meet up with the owner himself or a runner. The preparation of the food that starts from buying fresh chicken legs, to pre-cooking/marinade up to final frying is the work of the owner to maintain its quality. The founder is exuberant and enthusiastic since cooking is his passion. He hopes that someday his love for cooking reach many people and learn to love his product. He dreams to become successful not only for himself but also for the people that he wants to help someday especially jobless filipinos. And so, our journey begins here... - Kenn Stephen V.
