In a society where patriarchy, a macho-feudal system, fascism, or the so-called far-right wing ideologies of the political compass are prevalent, women and other vulnerable groups are always on the verge of indecency, misogyny, disrespect, and jeopardy. Contextually, it is a popular notion that the roles of men and women in the society are relatively partitioned in a sense that men are privileged, powerful, and dominant, while women have been long stereotyped as weak and inferior. Hence, this view has somehow become a root cause of perpetration of VAW, thereby enabling men to take manipulation and advantage of women.
