I thought everything was fine. Everything happens for our own good. We had a misunderstanding for a week. Then you approached me saying 'I'm sorry,' but it was just for show. I saw you with your rumored new girl days before we broke up. I thought it was nothing. I thought you didn't know the girl, but I was stupid. I believed you still loved me despite my imperfections. I thought you accepted me for who I am. I tried to reach out to you. I tried to say sorry even if I didn't do anything wrong. I tried to talk to you so we could fix it, but you said no. 'No, I'm tired and fed up with your mood swings and attitude.' After two years, we haven't had the chance to have closure in person. It still hurts sometimes. Knowing we had that relationship, I thought it was perfect, but it was all a lie. Many times I tried to love someone else, but I couldn't. As time passed by, I realized how pitiful I am. What I did to forget you is easier said than done. I want to move on, and I'm doing it now. Step by step, I'm recovering from those thoughts that haunt me from the past. How can I say I found the guy who can love me back as I love him? Now I know it's God's way to remove a person who's not good for me. -
