Wow that was intense! We just reached rank 452 and I wanna share some of the team comps we've seen so far in the top 1000:

Aab (anemones and a mix of pure dmg aquas+bait bird)
Bug + pocky aquas/plant
Discard AAP and AAP with a mix of beast cards.
ABP(Bug)
And finally Buntennas

I guess with the rise in popularity of Mechs, players are opting to aquas and birds despite the nerf.

NEW LINE UP!

We've recently reached 2k mmr so we had to step up our game. For this season, we've decided to join the meta by placing a midlane bug on our team.

With our plant acting as a bouncer at the entrance, chicks are having trouble getting inside the club! 🙅

Hey guys. It's been a while. We've hit the 2k mark. Been seeing a lot of AAB, BPP in this range and our team is luckily faring well against them. Backdoor poison comps seem to be ranging between 1.6-1.8k.

Inspired by the pros, here's a video of our version of the 'axie team on a budget challenge.' We spent 0.1753 eth on this team (or 40669.6php at 232k/eth) and we're @ 2779!

Hey guys! Recently, I've been trying to figure out a way to counter these anemones with my current lineup...

One thing I've noticed in the midgame is that their damage usually fall short if they're up against a midlane plant. Playing a midlane plant gives you a huge outplay potential with their high shield and damage vs aquas and birds.

If played correctly, you could end up in a 2v1 situation with your plant tanking the dmg and your back finishing off the remaining. It works well even with soothing birds!
