When choosing an audio for your reel, go beyond what's trending or your personal favorites. Here's a little guide on how we usually do it:
Focus on the post's objective. What's the point?
โข Consider the mood you want to create for the video. Is it somber? Is it fun and cheerful?
โข Observe the movements of the camera and the subjects. Are they in sync with the pace or beat of the audio?
โข Consider how the lyrics convey your message, whether figuratively or literally.
๐ก PRO-TIP: While most people may associate most songs with their standard/literal meanings, we often like to relate the lyrics with a word play or metaphorical representations to add depth and a more personal touch to our content.
