Magic Chess Iconic 4v4 Tournament
• November 13, 2021 (LIVE!)
7:00 PM – Final Round – Solo Tourna: Battle of the Captains
7:45 PM – Final Round – 4v4 Tournament (2 teams)
1. Tournament Type:
- Single-Elimination
- UNIQUE Commander in every game. No player in the team should have the same commander. In the event wherein a team has two or more players with the same commander, that team is disqualified. Thus, the opposing team is the winner and will receive one point.
- King of the Hill (KOTH) - the team with the member who tops or ranks 1st wins the game.
2. All games from the 1st Round to the Semi-final Round will be played in a Best of Three (BO3) King of the Hill (KOTH) format. After a game, if both teams agreed, players may proceed immediately to the next game without waiting for the time stated below.
- 1st Game Assembly Time - 7:00 PM.
- 2nd Game Assembly Time - 7:45 PM.
- If there is a 3rd game, Assembly Time - 8:30 PM.
- We will be using the KOTH format for every game. The team who wins the game gains 1 point. Whoever’s team earns 2 points will advance to the next round.
3. The Final Round will be played in Best of Five (BO5) KOTH format. After a game, if both teams agreed, players may proceed immediately to the next game without waiting for the time stated below.
- 1st Game Assembly Time - 7:45 PM.
- 2nd Game Assembly Time - 8:30 PM.
- 3rd Game Assembly Time - 9:15 PM.
- If there is a 4th or 5th game, it should start not later than 15 minutes after the end of the preceding game.
- We will be using the KOTH format for every game. The team who wins the game gains 1 point. Whoever’s team earns 3 points will be the Champion.
4. Maximum of 15 Minutes Waiting Time. The team that is incomplete or not ready AFTER 15 Minutes will be disqualified. In the event that both teams are incomplete or not ready after the waiting time, both teams are disqualified and there is No Winner. If a team is disqualified during the 1st game, they may play for the 2nd game as scheduled.
5. The team captain in the upper seed of the bracket will be the one to create the custom lobby to invite the other team captain.
6. The one who created the lobby (upper seed) should send a screenshot in the respective chat group before starting the game and wait for the Marshall's go signal. The team that fails to comply will receive a Warning.
7. This tournament is open to all tiers. There is no Rank requirement.
8. Bans:
- New Commander: (Dubi Skill 1, 2, & 3)
- Brown (Skill 3)
- Tharz (Skill 2 & 3)
- Starfall Blade equipped on Beatrix
NOTE: If a player used any of the bans mentioned above, the said player will be disqualified and should surrender immediately in-game. The whole team will not be disqualified. If the said player did not surrender and ranked 1st in the game, the team of the player who ranked 2nd will be the winner. Lifted bans or any additional bans in commanders, equipment, and crystals will be announced before the tournament starts.
• No Hero bans.
• No Chessboard bans.
9. There will be no pauses to fix connection issues or etc. There will be no Game Remake.
10. After each game, the winning team is required to send a Screenshot of the game results at their respective group chat WITHIN 10 MINUTES. No Screenshot = No Win = No Point. Thus, the said game is considered void. Please REPLY to the screenshot with the following: Team Name (score) vs Team Name (score)
Example: Iconic 1 (1) vs Iconic 2 (0)
11. NO SPECTATOR ALLOWED in every game except for the streamer/casters during the Semi-final and final round. The team that fails to comply will receive a Warning.
12. Complaints and reporting of violations should be done within 10 minutes after the game. Reports that do not have evidence or proof will be ignored. Violations that are reported after the given time allowance will no longer be entertained. Thus, the initial game result will be declared as the final game result.
13. Any changes to the team roster during the tournament will not be allowed.
Additional Rule:
14. Three (3) Warnings received due to non-compliance with the rules will result in disqualification due to unsportsmanlike behavior.
𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
• Failure to appear in the game lobby on the agreed time and after the given time allowance.
• Dishonest or fake information.
• Duplicate players.
• Any form of cheating. Players who are caught using bans and abusing known game bugs.
• Unsportsmanlike behavior, which includes bad behavior, toxicity, rudeness, and an attitude problem in the tournament’s group chat, in lobby, in-game, and in chat. Disrespect towards other players, tournament organizers, and marshals.
𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
• Organizers serve the right to add, edit or delete certain terms of official rules and regulations for any reason. The said change will be effective with or without prior notice.

• Champion: 2,000 (1 team)
• Finalist: 1,200 (1 team)
• Semi-Finalists: 800 (2 teams)
