Just a little bit of what to expect from the 9-10hr stream that I'll be doing tomorrow WAHAH Aside from the usual LoL, we'll be trying out a Nuzlocke challenge for Pokemon Emerald (more on this tomorrow), and ofc to cap the night, LoL tourney. There'll be a ton of fun games, prizes, and surprises so come hang !!

For this month's GAMING FOR A CAUSE, the central theme is EXPRESSION.
For this reason, I sought out to partner with Fund the Forest, more specifically, their project that also happens to go by the same name, Fund the Forest; and jesusjuicedrink!
ABOUT FUND THE FOREST:
They are a small group of passionate individuals who started out with a simple idea: "You don't need to be anyone else to be a person that can change the world." - an idea I really resonate with.
Tbh upon contacting them, I didn't really know where I could help out being a small streamer myself. But as I talked to them, it became clearer that simply by using my platform, it can go a long way.
What started out as a plan for reforestation, the Fund the Forest Project now hopes to help communities that were more greatly affected by the pandemic like the Aeta community of Sitio Yangil (one of the many Sitios that were greatly affected by the pandemic btw)

ON THE LOSS OF VISION ON ONE EYE: May have been low blood pressure from my diet or too much computer LOL. Either way, got checked, nothing really wrong. If i experience something like this again daw and it rly is complete loss of vision w a norm diet, THEN i MAY get tested for diabetes but it is highly not likely.
MORE ALARMING BUT PLS DONT BE ALARMED NEWS: Doc said i was lucky i came in to get checked because they found that my optic nerves are wider than the average person's which could be a sign of Glaucoma (permanent loss of periferal vision). It is in early stages pa daw so it is reversible. I will get tested again to see if i am positive for it (sana hindi)
If i hadnt gone on the diet i wouldnt have fainted / experienced the loss of vision on one eye. If i hadnt experienced that i wouldnt have gotten myself checked. If i hadnt gotten myself checked i wouldnt have ever known that i have the possibility of developing glaucoma cuz it is painless and sneaks up on ya.
Just trying to find that silver lining.
Reminder for everyone: if u feel the slightest discomfort or irregularities with your body, get yourself checked. Otherwise, pls take care of yourselves!!!!!!

Got sick??? I think.... Not rly sure what it is but I have an appointment for the doctor on Wednesday (only free time). 11 years ago, I held my first meet up. I thought 100 people would come. I invited everyone I knew, talked about it a ton on social media and brought enough stickers for a crowd of about 1,000.
Know how many people came? Two.
One was Mike Foster, who came to encourage me and one was a father who said, “My daughter reads your blog.” He stayed for about 30 seconds, looked around the empty room and then left.
I think he took a sticker, which left me with 999.
I think about that moment sometimes because it felt like a failure, but really wasn’t. It wasn’t a failure, it was a beginning. And that’s how beginnings often look.
It’s you, alone in a room, working on something you care about, trying to get other people to care, too. It always takes longer than you want and always slower than you want but it’s worth it.
I knew it was even in the moment because I told a friend to take a photo. I knew I’d want to remember it but even more so, I knew it would encourage other people who were beginning things, too.
Here’s to lonely beginnings and the bravery to keep going on what you’re working on!

Tried out a build i saw online. 1 damaging item (gunblade) and the rest are tanky.
