Sometimes we are too pressured to stay out of the toxic positivity lane that we are unaware we are becoming negative and hopeless. Today I was reminded that staying positive just means we are hopeful and that we are looking at the nicer side of things in seemingly ugly situations. It's being thankful for the opportunities, lessons, and growth. It's being at peace that things will turn out well eventually, and that what happens to you right now is adding value to who you will be tomorrow.
Who's keeping your positivity at a useful, non-toxic level at the moment? Don't forget to thank them! 🤍

So happy for everyone whose prayers are being answered! In our hearts, we have this huge expectation that if God can do such things for them, He can also do it for us! We keep focusing our trust on Him 100% and never, never in our own understanding and our own ways.

While marriage gives us countless opportunities to achieve a variety of goals in our lives, married couples should not forget that the most important goal is to be united.

United in your love for Christ.
United in the way you run the family.
United in your values.
United in how you spend your money.
United in keeping a good relationship.

And so much more!

No matter how many things you seem to accomplish when others look at you from outside, if there is no true unity in the marriage, there is no real strength.

Never forget that the Main Source of genuine understanding and connection is the God who Authored marriage. 🤍

We all want loving, positive, fulfilling relationships. How do we create them?
It's not the big gestures or the sweeping declarations that matters most. It's the small micromoments of love, care and compassion.

These micromoments sound like:
“How are you?”
“I heard your child was sick, how are they feeling today?”
“Can I grab you a cup of tea?”
“How can I help you?”
“I made this for you.”
“I read this article and thought of you.”
“I’ve been thinking about what you said…”
“How is your heart?”
“What’s going on at home right now?”
“You did a great job on this.”
“I’m proud of you.”
“I want you to know how loved you are.”
“I see how hard you’re working.”
“Tell me more about that.”
“Thank you.”
“I appreciate you.”
“You make my life better.”

A substantial body of research has found that these small moments are the very fuel that power loving relationships.

Today, think about one relationship you want to invest it. Then, reach out and create your own small, loving micromoment. As the poet Emily Dickinson once said, “If you take care of the small things, the big things take care of themselves.”

Your capabilities are not a guarantee that you will always win.

Let's talk shortly about Joshua 7:1-8:29. The Israelites had won many battles already and conquered lands. This could have given them the assumption that they would still win the next one in Ai. They made a decision then on how they would attack the opponent, but lost 36 lives, unfortunately. Joshua cried out to God and God told him there's someone from the tribe who disobeyed the Lord by keeping things for himself that were supposed to be surrendered - that man was Acan. To cut the chase, Acan was exposed, had no choice but to admit what he did, and was punished to death. God's anger was gone, and Israel regained their victory.

Israel failed because:
1. They did not pray about their attack. The plan was not from God.
2. There was a spirit of greed.
3. There was disobedience.

Sometimes we fail even in the things that we think we are already so good at. No matter how much we prepare and regardless of the number of wins we've had in the past, if we commit the above, we still could not completely achieve the victory that's designed for us.

What should we do, then?
1. In everything that we plan to do, always consult God in prayer. God wants you to honor Him in all that we do.
2. Don't keep things that are not ours. Give God what is due to Him.
3. Obey the Lord fully. Full means 100%, not almost. We cannot really say we obey Him if we just do it partially.

Put God first in everything we do and surely His guidance will be upon us. Let go of the things that He does not tell us to keep. And fully surrender to His plans and seek His will.

Have you ever found it difficult to stay consistent with the things you started? I totally can relate! While it can be normal to feel frustrated of yourself, keep in mind that you can always, always pick up where you left. You ask when? Today is the best day!

Get back to your devotions.
Get back to serving God with your talents.
Get back to that yoga mat.
Get back to your cooking lessons.
Get back to the book that you're writing.
Get back to the piece of art you're finishing.
Get back to your volunteering works.
Get back to pursuing your career plans.

No matter what season you are in now, today is the best day to get back on track!

at alam mong magugustuhan din nya❤️
oo normal na luto lang yan pero ramdam nya kapag ineffortan mo at ssabihin mong tara kain na masipag, responsable at sexy kong asawa🎯 ewan ko na lang kung kumain pa un🤣hahaha goodvibes lang pero..

May business owners akong naeencounter na sila mismo yung nagpapalakas ng competition ng negosyo nila by promoting other brands of the same line. While there's nothing wrong about admiring similar businesses and still buying from other people's businesses, it's a different story when you are still trying to build your own brand, tapos mas binibigyan mo pa ng time yung competition kesa ipromote yung sarili mong negosyo. Tapos magcocomplain bakit mahina yung sayo 😅

There is a popular saying na "The grass is always greener on the other side" -- Other people's lives always seem to be better than our own but we don't realize how much effort they give into it para maging "greener". Ibang usapan din naman yung baka iba lang yung nakikita natin sa panglabas. But my take on that is, the grass is always greener where it is watered. Meaning, what we have will only grow and be its better version if we put enough effort into it rather than putting more effort on someone else's.

Ang asawa ko, si Awin, ay isa sa mga best example na nakikita ko sa bagay na ito. While we are still in the phase of building our brand(s), todo todo talaga yung effort niya mapakita sa network niya na maganda yung mga bagay na inooffer ng businesses namin. Hindi palaging likely yung outcome pero the results are waaaay better than when he doesn't give any effort at all!

In short, give more time in promoting your business! Walang ibang pwedeng mag-echo kung gaano kaganda yung mga bagay na inooffer mo kundi ikaw din. Kebs nalang din sa mga nagsasabi na bakit puro business yung pinopost mo. Okay lang yan, dahil yan ang naglalagay ng pagkain sa lamesa niyo. Hindi naman sila, di ba?
