In its latest advisory issued at 5 a.m. today (Oct. 31), PAGASA said that "Rolly" may develop into a super typhoon in the next 12 hours, packing wind strengths of up to 215 km/h and gusts of up to 265 km/h.

Its trough is forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the Visayas, including Negros Oriental.

Flashfloods and landslides may occur, PAGASA said.

JUST IN: Rains brought by Typhoon triggered a landslide at Sitio Balastro, Barangay Kalamtukan in Bayawan City this morning. A house was reportedly hit by the said landslide.

: Negros Oriental will continue to experience moderate to heavy rainshowers due to the trough of Typhoon , PAGASA said.

In its latest advisory issued 4 a.m. today (October 26, 2020), PAGASA advised the public to be alert as flashfloods and landslides may be triggered by the rains.
