I saw a post sa isang credit card community na di covered ng G Protect nag transaction na person to another individual.

Dapat person to retail or commercial entity. (If that's the case pala, dapat lumalabas lang yung option na yun kapag registered retailer lang at hindi automatic na nagtuturn out at a certain amount)

Not sure how I can validate this pero ingat nalang especially sa mga mahilig bumili ng second hand items. May ongoing scam kasi daw ngayon na nagpapanggap na seller or middle man (kunwari kapatid etc).

Di ko din makita sa policy nila yung clause na yun except sa 15k max lang ang covered sa kahit anong transactions.

A young woman who is in her early 20s living in our neighborhood died yesterday because of a heart issue.

Prior to that, she got pretty devastated and was sleepless for a couple of days crying after learning that her dear lolo had a stroke..

Her lolo is still alive though, trying to recover but it's quite tragic that once he goes back home , he'll learn of what happened to her granddaughter.

This kind of unfortunate event really does happen unexpectedly.

I'm not in any way close with the family but if there's anyone who wants to extend their help, let me know.

By just simply doing your job well, you also help other Filipinos (indirectly) have an opportunity to do work from home. How? Here's a short story.

We had a virtual send off para sa isa namin kawork na almost 10 years na sa company. During that call, different people from different countries popped in to say a quick message and chat a bit dun sa kawork namin na nakatrabaho nila. Most of these people di ko pa nameet.

A while later nung kami kami nalang kasama ang owner ng business, one of the things she shared is how our co-worker was the reason why a lot of people from her network and even some clients/partner decided to try finding remote workers specifically sa Philippines. Meron pa nga isa bibisitahin yung team niya sa Philippines next month.

She's one of the many Filipinos na nakakatulong maging maganda ang reputation natin at gawin tayong isa sa mga preferred countries ng mga business owners na naghahanap ng VAs.

Pwede mong sabihin na nasa tao pa rin yan and yes totoo pa din yun. However, this kind of thing na kun saan a certain country is known for is VERY CRUCIAL.. Kung nasa bansa ka na kilala bilang scammer ang mga tao, then panigurado doble dobleng hirap para sayo ang makaland ng client.

Remember, we're competing with other countries and as a collective group and ONLY as a collective of freelancers and remote workers, we must strive to have the edge na tipong Filipino pa din ang preferred kahit ibaba pa ang rate ng ibang tao from other countries.

Despite the competition, believe na yung opportunities ay still abundant especially if you continuously improve your craft.

Mas mahal ang bilihin sa atin..

Alam mo bang ang Pilipinas ay ay isa sa may mga lowest Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) per capita (or person)? Pang 120th tayo over 190 countries.

Sa PPP per capita ay kinoconsider nito ang difference sa pricing of goods and services in different countries.

Bali ito ay isang economic theory na ikinukumpara ang currencies ng iba't ibang bansa sa pamamagitan ng "basket of goods" approach. According to this concept, two currencies are in equilibrium—known as the currencies being at par—kapag ang basket of goods is priced the same in both countries, taking into account the exchange rates.

Puro ka kasi shortcut...

Dahil karamihan satin ay gusto ng instant answers/solution, napapabayaan na kadalasan ang quality side.

Kapag lahat nalang ng bagay minamadali mo at hindi dumaan sa tamang proseso kasi gusto mo lang ay MADALI, darating sa punto na magkakandaleche leche ka.

Tignan mo yung iba na freelancers na masyado naging kampante. Nagrereklamo na sila na ang hirap na di na raw sila makakuha ng mataas na rate dahil maraming nagooffer ng mas mababa..

Mahihirapan ka kaya kung tuloy tuloy kang nagaaral at natutoto ng mga bagong bagay?

Oo, mahihirapan ka pa din kasi napakacompetitive ng freelancing industry lalo na kung wala kang existing "network". Pero kung continous ang paggaling mo at hindi ka aasa lang sa pambobola sa client pero hindi mo pala kaya gawin ng maayos ang trabaho mo.

"Eh pwede ko naman ioutsource ang trabaho e"

Mukhang madali lang pakinggan yung sinasabi ng iba na ioutsource mo ang trabaho pero kung wala ka kaseng magandang sistema at palpak ang gawang trabaho ng kinuha mong tao, paano mo aayusin ang problema, paano nalang din yung reputation mo? Bukod dun e paano nalang yung client mo na maayos kang binayaran?

Siguraduhin natin na maayos din ang ginagawa natin trabaho dahil mapa foreigner man yan or local client ay di nila pinipulot ang perang pambayad sayo.

Baliktarin mo nalang ang sutwasyon kung ikaw ang nasa kalagayan ng client/prosepct mo.

( Ibang usapin ang mga mapangabusong client na hindi makatarangunan mambarat at mapanlamang. Mas mainam na wag mo nalang tanggapin ang trabaho. )

I can't remember kung eto yung exact words na narinig ko sa isang video content but the idea is kung panget or basura ang ugali mo, mas maamplify lang yun kapag nagkaron ka ng pera.

The same goes kung naturally mapagbigay ka sa kapwa mo, you'll extend more help to those who are in need.

So it doesn't really change people pala and it doesn't make you a better person.. agree ka ba?

"Manifest mo na yan" "Law of Attraction lang bro"

Madalas ko makita yan sa comment sections ng iba't ibang thread. Malaki ang naitulong niyan sa iba pero marami din natrap diyan kasi "wishful thinking" nalang ang nangyari...

Ngayon pinpractice ko ang gratitude at pagtanaw ng pasasalamat every morning, narealize ko na ang manifestation pala is really just an act of faith when you use it correctly.

Here's the thing... we wish and pray for alot of things we don't have have all the time and we tend to only give thanks or magpasalamat once nakuha na natin yung prayers natin...I think tama ito for most people.

ETO YUNG CRUCIAL PART

Ang kulang pala sa ginagawa natin is giving thanks prior, speak and ACT as if we have already received what we've prayed for which is an act if faith = manifest.. you stop or let go of what worries you and just do you part and everything fall into places.

I'm not sure if this is how you personally define and use yung manifestation and/or law of attraction but feel free to share your thoughts.😊

Gagawin mo ba kapag walang nakatingin? Kaya mo bang magtrabaho ng maayos ng walang nakatingin?

Kung hindi ay wag ka nalang magfreelancing..

Sa buhay ng nagttrabaho ng nasa bahay at walang nagbababantay (depende nalang kung may tracker or video monitor), pwede kang matukso na magpanggap na ginagawa mo ang trabaho mo kahit hindi naman. .

Wag mo sanang pamarisan ang ibang tao at mas lalo na ang kapwa mo Pilipino na proud pang ganun ang ginagawa nila.

Linawin ko lang, iba ang petiks sa trabaho dahil tapos na niyang gawin yung kelangan niyang gawin at magaling na siya sa ginagawa niya kaua niya mabilis natatapos ang tasks niya VS sa sadyang nanloloko lang...

Hindi ko alam kung gano na kalaganap ang ganitong gawain ah pero kung umabot tayo sa punto na iwas ng maghire ang mga business owners ng Pilipino dahil maraming silang masasamang experience, lahat tayo magiging apektado.

Here's a formula that will determine your future financially and it's VERY SIMPLE to use..

Natutunan ko to sa isa naming engineering subjects...

Simply put, if you consistently save a certain amount of money and invest it for a certain amount of time, this formula will show you how much will be the overall future value of it..

Example tayo:
If ikaw na freelancer/employee ay consistently nagsasave ng P100,000 kada taon sa isang digital bank at kumikita ito ng interest ng 5% kada taon (assumming walang limit), magkano ang magiging future value ng pera mo kapag sa loob ng 20 years?

Sa example na to:
A= 100,000 per year
i = 5% per year
n = 20 years

Kapag ginamit mo ang formula sa picture ay dapat ang makukuha mo na sagot ay

P3,306,595.41

Kapag inipon mo lang ang pera mo at walang interest ay P2,000,000 ang maiipon mo sa loob ng 20 years.

Ngayon, tanungin mo sarili mo..

Malaki or maliit? Kung may tax pa yang interest ay liliit pa yung earnings mo..

Makukunteto ka pa rin ba sa interest rate ng mga digital banks?

Makukuntento ka pa din ba sa sahod mo o hindi?

You Probably Know This Already But Credit Card Makes You Spend More...

Yes.. may multiple studies related to this...

Before, I own 6 credit cards... Most of the time, disciplined naman ako. I don't buy something that I am not capable to purchase by cash. Ginagamit ko din siya to earn points sa mga work related travels ko before..

However, yung mga ilang instances na natukso ako kasi may "0%" installment na offer or huge discounts sa travels or restaurant made me realize na pinapataas neto yung spending habits ko..

Ang masakit pa, one time, i missed paying one time kasi nawala sa isip ko - anlaki ng interest na binyaran ko. Overall, talo pa nung nagiisang penalty ko yung lahat ng points na naccumulate ko.

How about credit score? Yes may benefit siya so you can have a good standing sa bank - pwede ka pahiramin. Sa totoo lang, mababa rin ang interest rate offered sakin ( nagffluctuate siya pa rin )

But what if magfocus ako sa paghahanap nalang ng paraan to increase my income instead of relying sa loan? Mas mahirap siya gawin at probably mas matagal pero souldn't that benefit you more lalo pag nagsisimula ka palang? It forces you to be resourceful and be smart about your financial decisions.

I'll probably close my 2 credit cards once natapos na yung active loan but I'm aiming to not wait and pay it in advance. Still, my current decision is to retain one credit card but ipapababa ko yung limit based sa needs ko lang...

Having a credit card requires extreme discipline talaga so make sure to think if you still want to get one..

Hospital expenses are pretty darn expensive and as freelancers, nagiging prone tayo diyan because of the nature ng work natin...

Health related things has been an ongoing topic with friends and families this past few weeks.

May mga nahospital, nagpaconduct ng ganitong procedure, tinakbo sa ER or whatnot...

Regardless of how much you earn - 6 digits or 7 digits man yan, you'll be shocked how fast...hmm.. napakabilis maubos ng inipon mo..

"E meron naman ako health insurance, hmo e"..

Well, does it cover everything??
Does you understand completey yung coverage ng insurance mo?

Madalas yung simple check ups and typical blood chem tests ang usual ang benefit mo but how about procedures and specific tests??

If we can prevent major health problems, let's do that kasi eto ang personal na napansin ko nung after ko mag wfh ( going 2yrs na ).

Nagkaroon ako ng free time to be physically active pero ang ending ay naobssessed ako to earn MORE na tipong gusto ko din 6digits.

Pero ideal ba yung strategy na lower rate and longer working hours? Puyatan? Buong araw nakaupo at nasa screen?

Marami magsasabi sayo na HINDI worth it yan kaya wag mo ng itry... It doesn't end well..

I still agree that health insurance and hmo is a must but we have to choose the ones that will fit our needs. Change your insurance if needed kasi baka masayang..

Also, i personally think that we must choose a good health service provider that cares and provides good to excellent service.. hindi mediocre at pera pera lang..

SIDE NOTE: if you're offered VUL kasi mataas ang magiging future investment value niya after x number of years, it's far from the actual truth.

The yield that you accumulate and the fees only eats up the investment part... There are alot of topics about it reddit so before you get any insurance, visit /phinvest subreddit to learn more..

Andami ko na din nadaanan at napuntahan pero karamihan ay work related..

Memorbale experience ko matuturing ay yung 2 weeks before lockdown kasi nagmobilize ako that time from Manila to Norte ( Pagudpod - Vigan - Elyu ) ng first week at second week naman ay ( Bicol region naman - Naga or Albay ata yun ). Napaaga ang demobilization namin dahil maglolockdown na the following week.

Di ko masasabing naenjoy ko ng lubos yung mga lugar na napuntahan ko kase kailangan tapos muna ang trabaho.

Kaya sa ngayon masasabi kong di para sa akin yung work while travelling.

Magbabago lang siguro ang pananaw ko kapag maliit na oras nalang ang kinakain ng trabaho habang nasa ibang lugar ako.

Baka same tayo ng problem...

Habang tumatagal ay mas nagiging klaro sa akin na yung mga problema na meron ako while I work to achieve my personal goals is actually not because of the lack of resources such as good courses, lack of good equipment, good communities nor is it relationship with people.

It's not being very clear and specific sa goals kasi kaya ko siyang gawin..

What I notice is I distract myself once things get really difficult or challenging. Ang go to response ko is to find something easy and do that instead of facing the challenge and solve it.

Among others,
I lack the patience pag walang nakitang result..
I lack the discipline thus I lose yung consistency..
Umiikot at laging bumabalik sa bad habits so paikot ikot ako that's why di ako makausad sa gusto kong direction.

Lahat ay internal things that needs to be resolve: Reprogramming the way I think, respond/react and sheer will to avoid temptations and distraction; or just avoid situations that will help you.

Books and other information are already there to help pero it's not enough. Just knowing is different from actually doing..

So naovercome ko na ba to at may magsshare ba akong solution? Hindi pa at wala. 😅

Pero what I do is to do every now and then is try to learn more about myself, listen and to pick up something from discussion plus try to apply scientific studies so that I won't sabotage my personal progress. Furthermore, I am working on UNLEARNING a lot of things that doesn't help where I want to be plus changing yung internal dialogue kapag nagseself talk. Parang it sounds weird pero it works.

Ayun lang muna.. tuloy tuloy lang tayo 😁
