How to actually have a strong presence in social media? 🤔
I just highlighted in my previous post why businesses should have a strong social media presence; now, we'll go deeper and actually learn how to have it! 😎
1. Find your Ideal Platforms
Small businesses must be present on the social platforms that their target audience uses. Choosing the right platforms will be determined primarily by your demographic, the nature of your business, and the most popular social platforms. Instagram users are mostly between the ages of 25 and 34. So, if that age group is your ideal customer, Instagram is a medium you should prioritize.
2. Make valuable content
If your audience finds your content valuable, they will keep talking and sharing it. Using good content is one of the most effective ways to engage and connect with your target audiences. If you can create social media content that your audience enjoys, they are more likely to share it. This can help you increase the visibility of your brand and, as a result, reach a larger audience.
3. Post regularly
To maintain a strong social media presence, you must post frequently. The more you post, the more likely it is that your followers will share your posts. Posting more frequently, on the other hand, means you'll rise to the top of your followers' feeds, keeping you top of mind and always-present.
4. Interact with followers
You must connect with your fans directly in addition to posting content. It may take some time, and it depends on the platform, as some encourage more chattiness than others, but if someone comments on your posts, take the time to respond. It's a simple thing to do, and providing one-on-one interaction with your audience goes a long way.
