RD Francisco directs IPPO to conduct in-depth investigation

Francisco directed Police Colonel Adrian Acollador, Provincial Director of Iloilo
Police Provincial Office to conduct in-depth investigation on the shooting incident in
Estancia, Iloilo early today, September 14.

“I already directed the Provincial Director of Iloilo Police Provincial Office to
conduct thorough investigation to identify, arrest and file appropriate charges
against the perpetrators following the death of the three victims,” says PBGen
Francisco.

The incident happened around 12:30 in the morning at Barangay Pani-an,
Estancia, Iloilo.
The four victims were on board on white Isuzu MUX when they were stopped
by unidentified suspects and were shots several times.

According to Police Lieutenant Joebert Amado, Acting Chief of Police,
Estancia Municipal Police Station the fatalities were:

1) Chrysler Floyd Fernandes y Belgira, 27 years old, single, Dayot Subdivision,
Jereos, Lapaz, Iloilo City,
(2) Jan Paul Mark Bosque y Cataluña 28 years old and a resident of Lopez Jaena
Sur, Lapuz, Iloilo City, and
3) Mark Clarenz Raymundo Libao , 24 years old, single and a resident of Jaro, Iloilo
City.

The fourth victim identified as Jebron Parojenog y Dela Rosa, 24 years old,
single and a resident of Barangay Villa Pani-an, Estancia, Iloilo. During the incident
he was able to escape and presently in good condition.

“Rest assured that this case will be given focus to unearth the root cause of
this incident and to identify the suspects and held them liable.” added PBGen
Francisco.

Being proclaimed as the Mayor of Iloilo City for my second term, I couldn’t thank you all enough for your trust and support. I know we have mixed emotions about the results because VP Leni did not win as the president, and for most, it’s still so hard to process since we have dedicated so much time and efforts campaigning for her.

However, difficult as it may be, we have to accept that the majority voted for a different candidate, and as good citizens of the country, we have to show him our support and ensure that he succeeds in leading the Philippines.

Congratulations to the Presumptive President Bongbong Marcos, Jr. May you always be surrounded by divine guidance as you lead the entire Filipino community.
