In our past, we see our failures and our enemies, our victories, and our defeats. The past allows the people of the present and the future to learn without having to endure. We can see how others coped; we can see that others survived hard times. The past gives us courage and it protects us.

For the past years, the School of Business and Accountancy has undergone a lot of challenges. Despite of these, the school has stood on its ground and continued in investing to holistic development to achieve greatness. In this 72nd year, let us all indulge in the moment as we will conquer the waves and surpass the hardships to reach greatness!

SAMASKOM would like to invite you to our SPOOK-tacular event, the Virtual Halloween Costume Party 2020! 🎃👻

Get ready and show us your creativity and BOO-tiful costumes!

MECHANICS

1. This Halloween make-up photo contest is open to all AUF College of Arts and Sciences students.

2. Snap your halloween make-up transformation and send your entry to SAMASKOM FB PAGE on or before October 31, 2020 . Don't forget to like our page!

3. Voting begins on November 1 - November 3, 2020. Share your entry link on social media to get votes. LIKES AND SHARES are counted.

4. All winners will be announced on November 4, 2020.

CRITERIA:

Audience Impact/Voting - 10%
Higher points will be awarded to those who combine diverse skills with incredible imagination to create a detailed and captivating horror look. Hence, likes and number of shares will be counted to see if your piece has a huge impact in social media.

Skill/Technique - 30%
Students who demonstrate the use of polished makeup skills, detailed application, and a diverse use of techniques, will be awarded higher points.

Photo Quality/ Composition - 30%
A good quality image is essential. The photograph should be clean, crisp, and appropriately lit. Higher points will be awarded to images that look like they could be in a horror magazine or media feed.

Originality/Creativity - 20%
Create a makeup look that is original and from the deepest recesses of your imagination. I expect to see wonder, terror, beauty, and horror! Have fun every step of the way.

Story - 10%
A few sentences about your creation, and the story behind him/her/it, can do a lot to sell your image. Don’t fall into the trap of telling what you did with the makeup. Instead, tell the story of who or what this person or creature is.
