Possibly too exciting for my first dull post but here it goes....
I was driving along one of my local A roads last night minding my own business, when I noticed what appeared to be a phone bounce up on the road ahead of us. After a quick conversation about if it was a phone, or just a piece of debris, we thought nothing more of it and continued with our journey.
24 hours later and I've come to notice that my car did, in fact, catch someone's escapee mobile device and has carried it safely within it's grill for the past 180 miles.
All efforts to reunite phone with owner are proving futile...

Found this cleaning out my Mom’s house. Larger piece is 12x5 1/4. Smaller pieces are 3 1/2x2 1/4. You can feel the gold is raised from the pieces. I don’t know what they are but I know they’re beautiful.

I came across this 30+ years old tee shirt in the drawer. I never did dare wear it in case it offended someone bigger than me. I hope the various religions of the world have a sense of humour. Having been brought up in the Catholic faith at least until my mid teens, I can relate to that particular category. Male 77 used to be 5’8” now 5’6.5”. Fresh out of bananas. Will a pineapple do?

Hello!! I have a strange question for my Irish brethren. Not Irish like me, but like, Irish Irish. I named my daughter Riann. Originally I wanted to pronounce it rye Ann but I assumed everyone would say it Ree Ann and she'd sound pretentious correcting them. I was wrong. More people say rye🤦‍♀️. Some say Ryan. My question to you is, how do you say it? Traditionally.

Edit: we pronounce it Ree Ann. I wasn't asking because I want to change it, I asked because I was curious about another language pronunciation. I only speak American English and do not understand all the rules of American English either! Not how my brain works 🤷‍♀️. Thank you to those who answered my question :)

I like real watches, but I wonder every day if I should get a smartwatch. I'm a teacher, and I live in Seoul, so it would be practical, but I like everything about automatic watches, and I hate everything about the look of smartwatches. The unspoken peer pressure is getting to me, but I like my watches to match my shoes. What do the dullsters think about smartwatches, and by extension, smart glasses and rings? This helped pass the time on a webinar today. I’ve been a lifelong, loyal, PG Tips drinker but since they ditched the pyramid tea bag and changed the formula to something my taste buds tell me is inferior, I’m considering rebelling. Hence this taste test. From L-R PG Tips, Tetley, Yorkshire. Not very scientific this time around, as I put a little too much milk in the Tetley and not quite enough in the Yorkshire. So it shall be repeated with weights and measures and similar mugs and stopwatches. I didn’t intend to drink all of each of them. Somewhat predictably, I did.
