CHEER DANCE COMPETITION

RULES:
1. One official team per COLLEGES
2. 20-35 PSU-Eligible students (Spotters are Excluded)
3. In College Team. The team must have at least 50% of Members are 1st Year Eligible Students
4. In Laboratory High School. The team must have at least 50% of members Grade 12, Eligible Students.
5. Max of 5 spotters/props men, in all-black garb
6. Up to 2 substitutes 24 hours before the competition
7. No interaction between members of the panel judges and participants, coaches and spectators
8. No abusive or profane language
9. No inappropriate or disrespectful action

PERFORMANCE
Routines must have:
A. School cheer yelled live
B. Dance techniques, variety of formations, synchronization with Music, and Cheers
C. To count, 50% of the squad must perform:
D. Minimum 3 jumps/leaps
E. Minimum 3 lifts/stunts
F. Basket Toss
G. Gymnastics/Tumbling
H. Min 3 pyramids (Max 2.5 or 2 ¹/² high)
I. Maximum of 7 snares and 12 bass drums
J. The routine should be between 4–7 minutes long (Including the 1 Minute Yell/Cheer Part)
•Music must Have Their Team Name Voice Overs and Mix According to their Theme.
Cheerleaders may not perform outside the boundary line of the 15x20 meters Puzzle Safety Mats Performance area.

OTHERS:
• One Judge per Category of Stunts, Pyramids, Tumbling, and Basket Toss
• 3 Judges for Basic Elements and the Category of Cheer/Yell.
• TEAM Stunts and Pyramids will be judged in their Transitions, Quantity, Quality of Ex*****on, Variety, Difficulties of Mounts and Dismounts
• TEAM Tumbling and Basket Tosses will be judged in their Transitions, Quantity, Quality of Ex*****on, Quantity, Variety of Combinations, and Difficulties of TUMBLING Pass.
• TEAM Basic Elements, Leaps, Dance, and Jumps will be judged in their Transitions, Quantity, Quality of Ex*****on, Quantity, Variety of Movements, and difficulty of Formations.
• Jumps: Flexibility, Heights, Quantity, Ex*****on, and difficulty of Combinations
• Technical scores will give the result right after the Team Performance.
• Props: Pompoms, Banners, Placards, signs, and Flags, can be used in the Performance
• Tumbling: only 2 max twisting Rotations and only 1 Flipping Rotation allowed.
• Basket Toss: Maximum of 3 Body Positions and only 2 max Twisting Rotations and only 1 Flipping Rotation allowed.
• Each team Coordinator must Submit Lists of Members, with an attached Scanned/Photocopy of their I.D and Waiver Addressed to the Sports division Office. Submission of Requirements is before February 24, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at the USG Office. Complete the Requirements: Form 3, Certification of Enrollment (COR), Pre Enrollment Form (PEF), and Parental Waiver Must be signed by The Guardians and Parents
• Ribbons, Rubber bands, and Pins are allowed but must be properly secured. Pieces of jewelry of any kind and stockings are prohibited. (For Safety Purposes)
• 8 Judges will score the whole performance. Each judge is responsible for scoring all the categories of the routine, and a panel of judges shall determine the winners based on the foregoing criteria. Any violations of the foregoing rules may be used as a ground for an appropriate deduction on the final score. The decision of the Board of judges is final and executory.

Interruption of performance:
1. In the event performance is interrupted because of technical reasons caused by the event equipment, facilities, etc. the team shall be given the option to either resume their performance from where it stopped or repeat their entire performance.
2. In the event performance is interrupted because of failure of the team’s own equipment supplies, tools, music, props, acts, or any of the same kind, the team must either continue the performance or withdraw from the competition.

RULES:

One official team per COLLEGES AND in SENIOR HIGH One Team for GRADE 11 AND another One Team for GRADE 12.

20-35 PSU-eligible students

Max of 5 spotters/propsmen, in all-black garb

To have a Fair Judging and Result.

No one Judge can Deduct the score only tabulators and Technical Judge!

3 Judges for Basic Elements can only give a Score for The Category of Cheer/Yell.

TEAM Stunts, and Pyramids will be judge in their Transtions, Quantity, Quality of Ex*****on, Variety, Difficulties of Mounts and DisMounts

TEAM Tumbling and Basket Tosses

Make Sure kapag papacompetition po Tayo ng Cheerdance Complete po ang Elements nito:
Pyramids, Partner Stunts, Tumbling Part, Basket Toss, Dance & Jumps, and your Judges is affiliated and Know how to Judge the difficulties, Quality and Quantity, from Mounts and Dismounts. They Knew the Proper Ex*****ons, etc.

Pero pag Dance Only and Basic Acrobatics like Cartwheel rolling. Please Dont Call it Cheerdance.
PowerDance Na po yun.. And for Entertain Purposes only, pwede gawin siyang PowerDance competition. hindi din po masasabi basta sa Philippines na Cheerdance dahil lamang po meron po iyong Yell Part. Kung Hindi Completo ang Elements at composition ng isang cheerdance.

For the Judges po (AT LEAST)
1 judge for Tumblings(Atleast Gymast athlete before)
1 Judge for Basket tosses( Experience as Flyer)

Para bawat judges po alam nila ang papaano mag Judge ng Difficulties, Quantity(Difficulties), how the team Mount and dismounts the Stunts and pyramids, the Transitions, executions, and the quantity, the more Who execute the more the Difficulties.
You dont Know mga Proff sa cheerleading/ cheerdance nagtuturo sa Isang Team, tapos ang mga Judges. Kung ano lang ang jinudge nila. So disrespectfull po iyon. Baka Turuan pa ng Cheer Coach Trainer ang judges na wala pong Alam.

Try to ask po sa mag experience ng almost 7 to 10 years in cheerleading and cheerdance. Para Hindi po questionin ang result ng Pa competition.
Please Innovate. Year 2023 Na!

Be advance n po. Kahit first timer at hindi professional mga performers long as Ibigay sa nagtuturo na marunong at may alam sa cheerleading matututo yan.
Remember Ang mga professional cheerleader before Walang skills at walang alam din yan sa simula.
Na tinuruan din lamang po nang isang maalam sa cheerleading and Cheerdance Trainer/Coach. Wag po natin ihele as Baby ang mga High school and College for this kind of Sports.
Cheerleading/Cheerdance is a Sports already. Please Respect this Game!
