Presenting our Short Music Video, "Somewhere in the Grassfield," originally titled "Somewhere Only We Know." Directed by Ivonie Tabian, this film captures a heartfelt narrative that unfolds in a serene grassy landscape. It explores the unexpected bond between a young man and a girl with amnesia who finds solace in writing stories about their shared sanctuary.

Set against the backdrop of their regular meeting place, the story delves into the blossoming friendship that evolves into a profound love. However, their happiness is tempered by the girl's amnesia, which threatens to erase their memories together. As their bond deepens, the girl tragically loses her memory, including the moments they cherished. The film concludes with a poignant farewell, leaving an indelible mark on both characters.

Through cinematography that captures the essence of their emotional journey, "Somewhere in the Grassfield" invites viewers to interpret its narrative in their own way. It is a testament to love's resilience in the face of adversity and the bittersweet beauty of fleeting moments.

Somewhere only we know by Conquistador Production

A college musician is waiting for a girl in a place they only know—yet she never came. He waited and waited until one day he met a mysterious writer. He asked for her name, but she never answered. Yet, for some reason, after waiting for a long time, he felt rather complete—like she was a missing puzzle piece that he needed to finish his masterpiece. But then, for how long will this last? He doesn’t even know her name.

And besides, being in love can be painful if you aren't sure that your feelings are shared by the person you love.

Agatha (Via Creativa) Short Film

In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

But what if you couldn't feel the light?

Agatha, a young woman, was seeking treatment as a result of a terrible incident that had occurred to her. Her therapist instructed her to make an artwork depicting her story; during the film, Agatha uncovers her deepest, darkest secrets that she tries to deny and hide. But what are these secrets? Why does she need to draw them?

Nearly a year has passed since the CONQUISTADOR production reached this significant milestone. And once again, we would like to thank everyone who helped us reach this goal and made it possible for us to get this reward, including those who voted for us online and those who supported us throughout our memorable adventure. And thank you to the organisers as well; we count it a blessing to have won first place considering that this was our first time participating in a short film competition. Now, this has given our crew new opportunities, and we'll keep working hard in the upcoming movies! Sypnosis:

"Kung tunay man na ang pag-ibig ang pinakamakapangyarihan sa mundo, kailan mananalo ang pag-ibig na binigo nito?"

Tunay na lahat tayo ay mayroong magkakaibang paniniwala. Relihiyon, panahon, pamilya— ilan lamang sa mga nagdidikta ng ating pagkatao at paniniwala. Ang mga ito rin ang nagdidikta ng ating pananaw sa mga tao— sa mga kasarian.

May panahong kinamumuhian, kalauna'y tinatanggap. Minsa'y iba ang tingin: sila daw ay kakaiba at nakakamangha dahil nailalabas nila kung sino sila. Yan ang karaniwang pananaw at pagtingin ng marami sa mga miyembro ng LGBTQ+.

Ngunit anong klaseng mundo ang hindi kilala ang sarili nito? Isang pagtapak lamang ang kailangan natin, para makita ang katotohanan na ang pag-ibig ang bumubuo at nagbubuklod sa ating mga sarili.

Tayo'y marahuyo sa istorya ng pagwawagi ng pag-ibig... Istorya ng pagwawagi ng lahat ng kasarian.
