LA MESA DAM UPDATE: As of 10:50PM, the water level of La Mesa Dam is at 79.86 meters.

Critical level is at 79.50 meters while its spilling level is at 80.15 meters.

Water that will overflow from the La Mesa Dam is expected to affect the low-lying areas along the Tullahan River from Quezon City (Fairview, Forest Hills Subd., Quirino Highway, Sta. Quiteria, and San Bartolome), Valenzuela (North Expressway, La Huerta Subd.) and Malabon.

All the residents living in mentioned areas, especially those near the river banks, are advised to be alert for further increase of water level along Tullahan River.

Due to the raising of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in most areas of Luzon in view of the persistent intense rainfall and strong winds brought about by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” to further aid in the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts of the government, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 25 October 2024.

​Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

​The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

PANOORIN: PB Rey Miranda ng Brgy. Canumay East, nananawagan sa NLEX na agarang aksyunan ang naipasarang overpass na nagdurugtong sa Canumay East at Canumay West.

Nasira ang nasabing overpass dahil ilang beses năng aksidenteng natatamaan ito ng matataas na truck na dumadaan sa NLEX.

Maraming mag-aaral na dumadaan sa overpass na ito ay labis na napeperwisyo dahil sa layo ng iniikutan.

Alinsunod sa implementasyon ng National Police Clearance System ay wala nang iniisyung Local Police Clearance sa Lungsod Valenzuela.

Ang National Police Clearance ang tanging lehitimong police clearance na iniisyu at kinikilala sa bansa. Maaari itong makuha sa pamamagitan ng National Police Clearance System na maa-access sa pnpclearance.ph

Dating Vice Mayor ng Valenzuela City, Nakakulong sa NBI Dahil sa "7 Million Pesos Investment Scam"

Naka-detained ngayon sa National Bureau of Investigation ang negosyanteng si EVELYN M. HERNANDEZ a.k.a. “JING HERNANDEZ”, dating Valenzuela City Vice Mayor, makaraang maaresto sa isang entrapment operation na isinagawa ng NBI-Anti Organized and Transnational Crime Division (NBI-AOTCD).

Huli sa aktong tinatanggap ni Hernandez mula sa isang complainant ang down payment na Php50,000.00 na para umano sa dalawang investment slots sa construction ng Bulacan International Airport, kung saan bawat slot ay nagkakahalaga ng Php3,500,000.00 at ang profit ay aabot sa Php50,000,000.00 sa loob ng limang taon.

Naunang ikinasa ng NBI-AOTCD ang operasyon matapos magreklamo ang complanant laban kay Hernandez, na sub-contractor/investor umano ng BM Logistics Inc. (BMLI), na sinasabing isa sa pangunahing contractor na ka-partner ng San Miguel Corporation na nagko-construct ng Bulacan International Airport Project.
Gayunman, batay sa certificate na inisyu ng Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), napag-alamang ang BMLI ay hindi rehistradong kompanya.

Isinampa kay Hernandez ang mga kasong Estafa under Article 315, paragraph 2(a) of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) in relation to Section 6 of R.A. 10175 (Cybercrime Law), at violation of Section 8.1 of R.A. 8799 (The Securities Regulation Code of the Philippines).
