Under the scorching heat, the COA Reapers outlasted the wavering CSSH Vanguards in a 3-inning baseball match this morning at the University Quadrangle, October 5.
Down 1 onset of their second inning offense, 3-2, the Vanguards went scoreless and totally lost control of their momentum.
Vanguards started hungrily in their first inning offense and tallied 2 runs courtesy of the team captain Joshua Moises and John Biรฑas and 1 RBI from Vince Suarez.
Reapers then struck back and dominated their first-inning offense, scoring four runs in a row to steal the lead and momentum from the Vanguards.
The green jerseys went alive and took advantage of the red jerseyโs sloppy defense, as the Vanguards went on a slump for the rest of the game.
The Reapers scored four more runs in the following inning to seal their victory while nailing their opponent into their first inning score,8-2.

The Vanguards are gearing up for a lose-to-lose match in the lower bracket facing the Tycoons tomorrow, October 6.
