PAY ATTENTION IF YOU PLAN TO HIRE A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER 📌
Social Media Management IS NOT EASY.

Social media is not a one-man show anymore.
The management of every platform is not practicable.

Managing Facebook and Instagram requires full-time work.

TikTok video editing is a full-time work.

Linkedin Management requires a full-time work.

Pinterest Management is a full time-work.

A YouTube channel's building requires a full-time work.

As Rachel Pedersen said,
How much does a social media manager cost?

Because if you want a GOOD one - you need to pay (like getting a house - you get what you can pay for - so no being surprised when a $150k house doesn’t have crown molding!)

$150-999 per month if you don’t care about strategy, results, excellence. you just want stuff posted.

$1000-2500 per month if you want someone who can deliver some results of growth, followers, engagement. Maybe some occasional leads too.

$2500-5500 per month if you want consistent, decent results from someone who has training, education, expertise, strategies. These people are good.

$5500+ per month if you want someone who has achieved mastery of metric-driven social media. These are rare SMMs to find - but they will not ever budge on price because they get bottom line driving results. They can get growth of most numbers but focus on the major KPIs agreed upon. Listen to them - because they need your buying to try new strategies!

There’s always someone who will ”do it cheaper” - but if you want results you need to pay 🙂 and if you find someone who gets you results for less, pay them more!!! You’ve found a unicorn.

Stop trying to find one person to do everything, business owners. It won't function. Be prepared to hire more people or participate to split the workload.

Social Media Managers, quit striving to handle it all. You'll exhaust yourself. Saying "that's too much to take on" is acceptable.

Creating content ideas, copywriting, creating graphics, writing hashtags, and scheduling is not just that easy and takes so much time!

What helps you make it in easier way is before you start creating content, there are a few things you should do first.

1. Choose your niche

2. Identify your audience

3. Know what is the trend on your industry

4. Set your specific goals

5. Determine your post schedule

6. Create your content pillars

Don't just pick some random topic and start writing. make sure it should have purpose, relevant and helpful to your audience.

The question is do we need to follow the recommended social media image sizes? or Does size matter?

So following the image size guide helps you to avoid the possibility of any of your images being cut-off or NOT shown properly on the feed and it has also another benefit.

For example, Instagram's new update is showing a full feed screen.

The benefit of this image size takes up the most amount of space on the feed so it will GRAB your audience's attention.

But recommended social media image sizes seem to change all the time.

Does size matter? Have you ever been upset when you see your image/cover that you posted got cut off?

Here’s the reason why size matters..

The visual face of your brand is often times the first thing your audience sees and possibly the one thing they remember.

So following the image size guide helps you to avoid the possibility of any of your images being cut-off and not shown properly on feed.

But recommended social media image sizes seem to change all the time

I feel overwhelmed.

I'm always waiting for the perfect timing. Now, I've realized that perfectionism leads to procrastination.

This is why creating content pillars saves so much of our time.
