Usa sa mga importanteng bahin sa panag-istoryahanay mao ang pagsiguro sa paspas nga paglihok sa Armed Forces sa tanang hugna sa mga operasyon ug alang sa integridad sa teritoryo ug pagtutok sa kaluwasan sa atung nasud. Kini nga interaksyon wala lamang nagtimaan sa pagsugod sa usa ka positibo nga alyansa sa buhatan apan nagduso usab kini sa pasalig sa pagpauswag sa pwersa pinaagi sa gipaambit nga mga tumong.

Samtang gikalipay usab ni Amplayo ang pag abi-abi sa pwersa ug nanghinaot kini sa sunod nga pagbisita ug nag ingon nga dili sila magmakuli pagpadangat sa ilang mga programa nga nag kinahanglan sa suporta diha sa buhatan ni Kongresista Lordan Suan tungod kay andam man kini alang sa pagtabang kanila aron mahatud ang tiunay nga serbisyo aron sa pag siguro sa seguridad sa rehiyon ug sa atong kinatibuk-ang nasud sa Pilipinas.

4ID receives 2 new facilities

The House of Representatives through the Office of Cagayan de Oro City 1st District Congressman Atty. Lordan Suan and the Department of Public Works and Highways 1st District Engineering Office formally turned-over two new facilities to the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division in a ceremony held at the Service Support Battalion (SSBn) Headquarters, Camp Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on January 18, 2024.

The new facilities were the Car Painting Booth and the Ammunition Warehouse which amounted to more or less P5-Million pesos each.

Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, Commander of the 4ID graced the ceremony along with other 4ID key officers, DPWH-10 officers and staff, and Brgy. Patag officials.

He stated that the said inauguration and blessing of new facilities marks a significant step towards enhancing the Diamond troopers' service to the people. Maj. Gen. Cuerpo II further expressed his utmost gratitude to Congressman Suan and the DPWH-10 for pushing the said projects which will greatly help in the attainment of the 4ID's mission of ending local communist armed conflict in the two regions and maintain lasting peace and inclusive development.

Hexaprime: “We are the exclusive PCSO Agent Operator in CdO and MIs Or”

Cagayan de Oro City, January 24,2024_”Hexaprime is the exclusive agent operator of Small Town Lottery or STL in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental as authorized by PCSO”, declared Hexaprime lawyer Delbert John Barsaga today.

Attorney Barsaga said that the Court of Appeals, in a January 23, 2024 decision, ruled that the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Corporation or PCSO did not err in issuing a termination order against Diamond Millennial Corporation or DMC, on July 12, 2023. Barsaga quoted a portion of the Court of Appeals decision as “Petitioner failed to show prima facie allegation of grave abuse of discretion on the part of PCSO” in terminating DMC’s authority to operate STL in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental. He added that Hexaprime was granted by PCSO the authority to operate STL in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental last October 17, 2023 after DMC’s termination.

Barsaga also disclosed that PCSO required Hexaprime to report any illegal STL operation within its area of operation to the PCSO. He added that the PCSO, in its Implementing Rules and Regulations, stated that there can only be one authorized agent operator of STL in a specified area. He said that the PCSO would then take appropriate enforcement and legal procedures against violators of the Anti-Illegal Gambling Law.

Attorney Barsaga said that DMC’s claim that DMC was issued a status quo ante order by the Supreme Court is moot because of the issuance of the Court of Appeals decision. Hence, Barsaga noted, the Court of Appeal’s decision must be followed.
