Bibida ang YEAHA PWDigitabilities Workshop Scholar na si Mamie Theresam Gonzales sa kanyang unang film performance project na MaMieMoTess!, isang short video movie tungkol sa “coming to terms about being a person who is an amputee due to diabetes and back to love” kung saan siya at ang kanyang long-time labidabdad ang kanyang kapartner at nakacollab niya ang mga YEAHA Channel youth volunteers under the guidance of its writer-director Crisaldo Pablo. Magpe-premiere ang MaMie… sa Persons with Digitabilities International Film Festival Grand Launch and first leg sa July 20-21, 2023, sa QC X Museum inside Quezon City Memorial Circle Park, Elliptical Road, Quezon City. Kung gusto niyong manood, pumunta lang or kontakin sa Facebook ang o Ang YEAHA PWDigitabilities Workshop ay isang programa ng The LoveLife Project, a media, marketing, technology, and events non-profit organization for social good na ang layunin ay upang i-develop, enhance, at sanayin ang persons with disabilities at persons living with chronic diseases sa arts, specifically sa digital communication, media, storytelling, and moviemaking. Tinanggal kasi ito or hindi na itinuloy simula noong January 2020 allegedly. Si dating President Ferdinand Marcos signed into law the implementation of this benefit kaya nais sana nilang umapela kay President BBM na ibalik ang legacy ng kanyang father.

FOR BAZAARISTAS AND BUSINESSES:

Persons with Disabilities, PWD-led or PWD-focused organizations, and businesses with PWD-inclusive programs can exhibit and sell products and services or promote and offer job opportunities to PWDs on July 20-21 in the QC X Museum, inside QC Circle Memorial Park, Elliptical Road, Quezon City where we will hold the first leg and grand launch of the first-in-Asia Persons with Digitabilities International Film Festival and Technology Conference Caravan (PWDIFF), a series of pocket advocacy campaign art and cultural event by The LoveLife Project for, by, and about persons with disabilities and persons living with chronic health conditions, with the screening of three fresh short video stories created and performed by the PWD scholars of television and movie scriptwriter-director-producer Crisaldo Pablo and LoveLife’s YEAHA PWDigitabilities Storytelling and Moviemaking Workshop. The PWDIFF aims to develop and enhance the skills and talents of PWDs in the digital arts and culture and to raise awareness in the community of disabilities, diseases, PWD inclusion, accessibility, and rights and is made possible by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, in partnership with the National Council for Disability Affairs, DSWD-NCR National Vocational and Rehabilitation Center, Quezon City government thru the kindness of Mayor Joy Belmonte, Quezon City Persons with Disability Affairs Office, BDO Bank, iSource Asia the source of education robotics, MSI Philippines, Epson Philippines, PAGCOR, ACW CompuAdd Inc., Breadwinners’ Welfare, and many PWD organizations and individuals. You can watch the short films and feature movies onsite at the festival for free on a first come first served limited seats basis. The PWDIFF is also offering a free conference on Educational Technology, Disability Inclusion, and Mental Health for Educators and Teachers at the adjacent room to the film fest’s cinema room. Persons with Disabilities who are looking for jobs can also bring their resumes and apply at the PWD jobs fair, and they can sell their livelihood products and services too.

The PWDIFF is designed to be a series of pocket festivals from the grand launch during NDPR Week in July, during World Mental Health Month in October, Campaign Against VAWC in November, World AIDS Day and International Day of Persons with Disabilities in December. The PWDIFF is on its third year of winning a contest grant from the NCCA for subcommittee on cinema festivals.
