There is a tendency to want to make God in our own image. We like the idea of an all-loving God. It makes us feel good. On the other hand, we don't like the idea of God's wrath, condemnation, and judgment. This makes us feel bad.

Unfortunately, facts don't care about our feelings.

In Psalm 50:21, God rebukes the people of Israel because they thought God was just like them. God says, "You thought that I was one like yourself." But God isn't like us. And we don’t get to tell God what He is like. Only God can tell us what He is like. And He has.

If we want to be faithful to Scripture, we must be willing to accept what it teaches whether we like it or not. Scripture is clear: God is kind and loving. But the Bible doesn't stop there. The same inspired text says He is also just and holy.

To you who stayed late at night
just to finish all the given tasks,

the one who is so restless
yet received so much grace,

the one who is so passionate
to accomplish everything,

the one who is so dedicated at work,

lastly, the one who worked so hard
even there’s no appreciation —

Allow me to say these words to you,
“I appreciate you.”

I know you’re physically tired but your passion and dedication to finish all, helped you to press on.

Thank you for never giving up even when you received no appreciation at all. You do things out of love and not after people’s appreciation.

THIS IS YOU — Even when no one notices your work, you keep doing things wholeheartedly and faithfully.

But, HEY! People might not see who’s behind that “amazing” work, but I know God saw all your hard work, dedication, and passion. In Him, your labor will never be in vain.

THIS I KNOW —

Behind that beautiful masterpiece is
someone who is so passionate & dedicated,

behind the accomplished deadline is
someone who stayed late at night,

But, behind all things, there is God’s grace
who sustained you and carried you through.

It is only by His grace and help, why there is someone like you – pressing on.

Salute to you, dear one. I appreciate you in all that you do. Your work is not wasted. In the end, everything will worth it. The reward may not be seen for now, but know that — a person like you is a reward by default.
