How's your Saturday, bosses?

We're on the 2nd week road of our quarantine life and I know that doing business is really hard for most of us. Sales are down and there's nothing left to do but pray for all this to be over and get right back to normal business operations.

Working from home is the new norm. I've been doing this for a while and I want to share 3 tips for a productive workday in your bedroom.⁣

1. Set the alarm. ⏰⁣
⁣
Yes! It's nice to extend that sleep because you stayed up late watching your favorite Netflix show but you need to show up to work. The bed might look so tempting but you need to get up because it's business as usual. When your alarm rings, get up and get ready for work.⁣
⁣
2. Take a bath. 🛀🏻⁣
⁣
It seems very basic but sometimes we get tempted to just go straight to our laptop in our PJs. Taking a bath will awaken your senses. You'll instantly feel an instant kick and that you're ready to answer emails after a nice refreshing bath. ⁣
⁣
3. Turn on your silent mode. 🔕⁣
⁣
This really works for me! I work (almost) 24/7 with social media and that means so many notifications and pings on my phone. I turn my phone to silent mode so I won't hear these notifications. By doing this, I become more focused on my current task and I'll just check on my phone for important notifications when I'm done. ⁣
⁣
If this is not possible because you might be on phone calls, I suggest turning off your social media notifications. This way, you won't be distracted with every Facebook or Instagram sound and you'll keep yourself from checking them.⁣

Happy New Year!
2019 had a major plot twist for me. It was very unexpected but it sure was for better... WAY BETTER THAN MY LIFE BEFORE!
What they say was true!
If one door closes, another one opens. All we have to do is to not be afraid to try new things!
From working my ass off in my 9 to forever day job to working as my own boss (and my own sales person, graphic artist, copywriter, and strategist) and living my ideal life every day is what’s keeping me busy, happy, and thankful for!
2019, you were awesome but I can already see 2020 has a lot more bang for me and my business!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients, who are very kind and trust me a lot. You are all awesome! I can’t thank you enough for being not only my clients but also my good friends!

What drives you to succeed in your business?

Dear Restaurant Owner,

How's the foot traffic in your restaurant this season?

I'm sure it's jampacked but I have a question for you. What are you doing to have a consistent flow of customers dining in your restaurant?

One problem if you run your own or is that you might not be maximizing every penny to get all the results that you want. This is exactly what one of my clients did this year. She spent a significant 5-figure amount to boost posts and promote her business but she ended up with so much loss for her operation for that month. What's your selling background? Here's mine.

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of being my own boss. I always play with my kitchen toys and pretend that I'm a restaurant owner taking orders, cooking, and serving the food at the same time. I also collect fake money papers and coins made of plastic. I force my brother (he has no other choice 😂) to play with me and pretend that he's my customer. Sometimes, I will pretend to be a fashion retail shop owner and I'll sell my clothes to my friends.

Do you see? At a very young age, I want to be an ! I wasn't aware of the term yet back then but I always had this passion in selling.

When I was in elementary, I look for what my classmates need in the room and I sell it to them. They like fancy stationeries. I buy sets in the bookstore near our house and resell them. Sometimes, I make my design using my writing pad. I can't remember how I pitch it to them but I'm always out of stock!

In high school, I pitch our of making clothes to my classmates that my dad and mom will make our costumes for us. I also help in making sure that no thread is out of place.

In college, (OMG! THIS WAS MY PEAK!) I go to school with a sack full of bags, wallets, and whatever I can sell. I also bought an extra phone so I can sell prepaid communication loads to everyone —schoolmates, professors, neighbors, and people I don't know. I also accepted typing and printing jobs at home since I love being in front of my good old desktop, which was still running on Windows 98 back then. I was able to save some money and bought 3 more desktop units and opened a small computer shop in our neighborhood. I burn documents in CDs and DVDs for my classmates, and they pay me to help them research and put their thesis together. And the list goes on!

Today, I'm preparing for 2020 and I have some pretty cool products and services that will love! Stay tuned for my announcement. 😎

📌 Never miss a day without your
📌 Engage with your online audience daily.
📌 Always plan your content ahead.
📌 Consistently highlight your products and services (but no hard selling please!)

As a , I do all of these in a heartbeat.💓

🍬 Be generous and host a fun giveaway. This will significantly increase your engagement.
🍬 Offer a special Christmas discount. Time to utilize bulk orders and reward your customers for buying a lot from you.
🍬 Add some warmth to your post. This month is really one of the busiest seasons of the year. It's time to let your online audience and customers know that you care. A simple "Thank you" post for supporting your business this 2019 will do the trick.

"A meeting without food should be an email." Agree?

I find this really funny and relatable at the same time. In my case, I realized this week that I should do more online meetings, especially during the first client contact. It's a case-to-case basis but, as much as possible, I would love to do this more.

Why?

It saves me lots of time and energy. Driving to places can be quite tiring. Just imagine the traffic that I have to go through every meeting. 🚦🚙🚕🚐🚒🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍

Also, I'm an avid fan of working smart! I want to work more efficiently, and online meetings (and working from home) is the way to go! Don't you agree?
