Be In Love With Nature

What do you say?

Look around you. What did you see? Try looking at the sky, river, sea, lake, or everything that is surrounding you. Are they a pleasant sight? Do they still look OK? If so, maybe your eyes are not OK. Did you really think that oxygen is black? Or water is black? Well, obviously they’re not supposed to be black. I know, black color is cool but dirt is totally not cool. Some people noticed but they pretend like nothing was wrong, it’s just normal, or this won’t affect them. Well, they are wrong, they are not normal, and it will affect us all without exception. “I did nothing wrong. It’s not my fault so it’s their problem to take care of, not mine,” that must be what they’re thinking. Well, Are you thinking the same thing as them? Even if you did nothing wrong but also did nothing right, then it’s as good as doing something wrong.

So, how to save Mother Earth? First, love our nature. If you have accomplished the first step, then you may now proceed to the next steps. Second, third, fourth, fifth and so on steps, let your love for our nature do the rest. Remember that if you truly love something, be it an animal, a person, or a thing, you will do anything to achieve it’s utmost wellness and always in it’s best shape.

Let’s now save Mother Earth. We can’t leave the sick waiting. No, no more waiting and no more wasting. It’s time for saving. Saving me, you, us, Earth, and the future.

Century-old trees cut down in Naga City for Road widening project

What do you say?

The trees South of Cebu are part of our Culture and Heritage as a Cebuano aside from the Environmental Protection they give the inhabitants of the island. Naga and Carcar will not be the same without those trees nor will the future of our children. Philippines is ranked MOST VULNERABLE in this Climate Crisis. This government project is disappointing as the first statement were verified true. Reading the article title will make us predicatively impulsive as we’ll think how government oppose their stand on producing 1.9 billion of trees this year. This serves a great impact especially that these trees absorb carbon dioxide from the cars passing by and it also holds water for flood prevention cases. The thing here is that even how historical a century old tree is, the point of the government signing was that it is for the peoples safety but there’s not much actual evidence or numbers presented to use safety as justification of cutting down healthy, viable trees. There are also no scientific reports presented that condemn the identified trees as sick or rotten. As for the Shop owner interviewed by Cebu Daily News, “point arguing anymore as their once tall and proud Acacia is now reduced to just a pile of wood in DENR-7’s compound”. This is saddening as these cutting of trees increase pollution rate and that safety they were talking about is not an acceptable reason. We need to get this right for our future generations. We have a freedom to speak of what the best for our country. The trees makes our nature colorful peaceful. It was already cut down.

President Duterte is Ill

What do you say?
The President’s health is a public and security issue we should be aware of. Yes we all are human naturally having the chance of being ill but remember, he is our President, our Leader, he manages and control the country. In any way if he’s in pain, we should know, who knows what will happen to him and the plans he had for us can’t be played. At the end, we will be the only one who’ll suffer. I personally believe the President especially that he is vain in his words, that shows how transparent and real he is that whatever and whoever opposed his idea, as long as he is on his term, he is right not that fully right but partially right. Health is wealth right? And that is the only thing our President have to continue serving us. Good thing that our President is not corrupt for as he state his conditions, he is not the type of man asking for money, instead he live life positively and that is the President we deserve. As citien of the country and subordinates of the President, we should pray for our President’s health for at his term and ours, he is our brain, the control organ of the society.

Illegal Drugs

What do you say?
Most of the drug users in the Philippines are young people. Illegal drugs that are presented includes ma*****na, L*D, opiates, and barbiturates. It is estimated that as many as 60,000 young people in the Philippines are dealing with drug addiction. What is the reason why they are attracted to use this illegal drugs? Maybe?
0. Enjoyment
0. Environment
0. Curiosity
You may like the way it makes you feel and you may think you can control how much and how often you use it. But over time, drugs change how your brain works. These physical changes can last a long time. They make you lose self-control and can lead you to damaging behaviors. Base from my neighbors experience, they tend to use drug for it will make them active and more focus n doing a kind of work. From that, I strongly disagree the pleasure the drug give. It had been one of the root from all heinous crimes.
It is parent’s responsibility to guide and inform their children about the use of drugs. Say no to drugs.

African Swine Fever

What do you say?

ASF or what will call it African Swine Fever. Over the last year ASF has spread rapidly in Asia. The first official outbreak was in China in August 2018, but it has spread to Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Mongolia, North Korea and Philippines is one of the country that is hit by the disease that has killed pigs. Is it safe to eat pork? Theres nothing to worry about because, “ASF is not a risk to human health,” the international organization said on its website. But it causes haemorrhagic fever in pigs that almost always ends in death and it also shows great negative economic impact. There is no cure and no vaccine against African swine fever. Agriculture Secretary William Dar sought to assure the public that “for local pork, we are telling everyone that it is safe. Let us patronize our products.” This brought a positive effect like if you put patronising into practice and it will be better off especially we can regain our economic loss during this ASF.

Polio Outbreak in the Philippines

What do you say?

In the past few years the Philippines didn’t attain the complete vaccination. If the children didn’t get vaccinated there's a possibility that the polio virus will emerge.
After 19 years, polio re-emerges in Philippines. Currently there are two children who are positive in polio virus in the philippines. Polio is the scariest disease now in the Philippines. It's a severe disease that still has no cure. It can only be prevented by complete vaccination. Should we worry? Is there a limit to the numbers of vaccines we can take?

Multiple doses of polio vaccines helps strengthen our immunity level against polio. From that dengvaxia controversy, it was a challenge on convincing parents of children that are massively known prone to polio on getting vaccine. I am glad that DOH have planned a remedy for this outbreak, the door-door vaccination.

Short information about Polio. Polio is a fatal and disabling disease caused by poliovirus. Where can we get it? It is often transmitted where there are poor environmental sanitation and hygiene. How can we avoid it? should we be careful? We can protect ourselves from the polio virus by ensuring your family is vaccinated, wash hands with soap and water, use a toilet, drink safe water and eat fully cooked foods.

This is a serious case we shouldn't neglect. Stay clean. Prevention is better than cure.

Abortion and Contraceptives

What do you say?
Overpopulation is prominent on the Philippines. Abortion on the other hand may be different as it deter the lives of the fetus but it is equally the same as it is one of the perennial issue here on the Philippines. We've seen bloody fetus on plastic trash, cubicle, left on sidewalks and etc., but why do mothers of these fetus decide to abort? To tell you, aside from Philippines being rich in natural resources, it is also famous for these good looking people. Some causes of abortion is r***d or premarital s*x or teenage pregnancy by which youngsters can't handle the stress of having a baby but before that some uses contraceptives to prevent but accident exist as well as Catholic rules and so some contraceptives are ban in some regions which can be a reason of abortion from accidents. Abortion is only made legal if the mothers situation is critical and as I said that some youngsters can't handle stress, their only way to get out of embarrassment and memories if it's a fruit from r**e is that some undergo illegal abortion and blood complications from unsafety sanitations may follow. Issues are cyclic. There was a fact that of you had come an abortion you'll get pregnant easily and so contraceptives are used as a solution. Yes temptation and needs are uncontrollable but proper plan and discipline to oneself is a must. Abortion is the great heartbreak one will feel may it be the mother or some strangers. I hope the dilemma causing Abortion will end.

GCTA
Justice vs Second Chance

What do you say?

It had been resounding on our Philippine movie that convicts who do good inside jail will have their sentence less. It was stated in Republic Act 10592 that those convicted of heinous crime are excluded. Politicians play a bigger role with this implementation of GCTA. To those determined and hopeful convicts that are out of heinous crimes, this GCTA is a big motivation of them to be out on real world and change what bad had they done. But the question is, Will they really do good and not do again a crime? It is triggering to both the victim and it's family fighting for justice for years in court but with that GCTA, it had been a waste of money. Awful truth is that our current President had announced that all convicts that are out by GCTA should present back to jail or else they'll be valued as fugitive and funny it is that some marginalised people who are one of the Presidents calling voluntarily present but theres controversey roaming around that a lot of prisoners abuse it those people who are powerful bribes the people who handle the records. And those people who are freed are the ones who did heinous crimes and I think the government officials should review or systemize the probitions while some bigger cases are making an excuse to avail GCTA by faking crime like Janeth Napoles thus making a sense of corruption visibility. If heinous crimes are exemption to the GCTA why are we giving chance to those convicts? Why are we changing fines of years of imprisonment? We are to follow the law, where in the law there are specified fines to be charged and on the contrary there's a law lessening the fine. We are punishing the convicts in a way favorable to them which is a hurtful truth today.

Forever Traffic in Philippines?

What do you say?

From the Spanish colonial period until today, traffic is present. From kalesas in narrow streets to modern vehicles in highways, transportation has evolved but traffic remains a constant issue. This was made evident when a navigation app called Waze conducted the 2015 Global Driver Satisfaction, and finds Metro Manila has the worst traffic over the globe after scoring poorly in the “Driver Satisfaction Index”. In 2016, Cebu City takes the Metro Manila’s spot as “the city with worst traffic” in the same survey conducted by Waze last year making the country, rank 2nd in the top countries with worst traffics. In 2017, the Philippines finally became “the worst place to drive” in Waze’s 3rd Global Driver Satisfaction.

On 22 July, 2019, in his 4th State of the Nation Address, Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte proclaims a solution to Metro Manila’s traffic issue and that is by reclaiming public roads that are being used as public ends. There has also a project proposal in building artificial islands in Manila Bay hoping to fix the Metro Manila unending traffics but some fishermen and environmentalists opposes the idea for it may cause a devastating effect to aquatic resources and environment.

Nothing may lasts forever but for traffic, there may be. Well, if no appropriate action plan is carried that is all. Building infrastructures and road improvements such as widening and building new ones might be one of the obvious solutions but the process is slow, and may affect the economy, and also, Metro Manila suffered traffic congestion mainly because of its geography according to experts. The president’s solution to traffic is helpful not just because it can lessen traffic but also the corruption of Metro Manila Mayors. In the building of artificial islands in Manila Bay, I totally disagree. Our natural resources and environment are our greatest wealth. It’s a major loss if exchanged only for traffic solution.

West Philippine Sea or South China Sea

What do you say?
The battle of China's illegal dispute on our territory is still unsolved. China is refusing to recognize the Hague's historic court ruling over territory in the South China Sea, in favor of the Philippines. In fact they handed a notice that no outside country ships and planes should cross the borders of theirs, which is totally absurd because surprisingly the island which used to be one had become an artificial military based island and they said that it was there and they don't pose militarism but actions doesn't match their words. They said that the claim of illegal disputes will only be acclaimed if US will have a war with them. Philippines weren't powerful enough to fight allegations with China but because of many instances where the clash of Philippine boat by foreign boat is a sign and had been implemented by President Rodrigo Duterte that no foreign ships will come across our territory without permission and the other neighbouring country affected is an US ally.
It was a battle where I find myself watching a chess play where I myself don't know what will happen next like the US can't argue with US because that will result to a war maybe World War 3 that may affect neighbouring affected places and on the other side US can't be an ally to the Philippines.
It was funny for me knowing that they fight for the nine dash line where obviously it takes part countries territory. Illegal dispute is no joke because the part they claim is rich in natural resources especially oil and if we let China to own it because we don't want a war then this is the dumbest decisions ever because we are on the list of poor economic country how much more if we'll lose it? The thought at first where China doesn't want to accept accusations on illegal dispute puts me on curiosity of why do they build that artificial island? Do they wanna dominate the world just like the movies they produced famously addicted by most Filipinos and the thing that we patronize things and products like Ipod from China and their movies by hundreds of Filipino, it is insulting in our Philippine economy that we patronize bully China and I abhor that thought. If they want to dispute West Philippine Sea and we can't fight with them maybe due to lack of military reinforcement, then let's start by ridding out Chinese businesses here on the Philippines and let our Filipino men prosper by patronising what's ours. I stand that someday we'll finally own that West Philippine Sea and no rival will be seen around our exclusive economic zone.

Heightening Poverty

What do you say?
Common public issue but stagnant. Poverty mostly is experienced ascribed. Look around you, how many times in a day have you seen a person asking for money on streets claiming that it's for food. How do we measure poverty? Poverty have come to the worst stage in the Philippines. Was it Economic decline, Drugs, Death, Su***de, Corruption, Filipino attitude, or what really causes poverty?. Broad and perenial.
Slums, Increase Crime rate, Decrease unemployment rate and such non-verbatim leads to Poverty. As having awaken how some can't eat for days or some recycle food from trash, it was pretty alarming and confusing how running politicians platform of solving the poverty haven't been implemented. It's ripping and shreding our hearts that made me think of a challenge to the all talk- no action politicians of how about they'll eat that food garbage. Yes Filipinos are flexible but the thought that they adept eating those rubbish and is left no choice to continue the game of life.
How many times of many people scrutinize poverty to resolve? How can we attain change if our leaders plan unparalleled with us? No one wants poverty but this kind of mindset is a trap, the study, graduate and find work but the days and money you spend at school at expense weren't assured to be paid back by your work if you'll going to have one. How come Philippine government can produce money but can't help dying Filipino out of poverty? Problem can't be solved for most number of family members are the poor which as observed, children at young age suffers from the cruelty of life. We are democratic but we know that unknowingly controlling behind goodness.
It's not only the government that we should criticize for poverty because as said earlier, poverty is ascribed. Commonly used quote but Change must start within us, simply on our mindset that if we want to be out of poverty then think as it is and do what possibly should be done.
Drop everything now and share your thoughts. What do you say?

E-ci******es Myth

What do you say?

E-ci******es are enticing more dominantly by most teenagers, it's packaging and the hundred tricks you can play are fun to spare with. This device has an e-juice or liquid on it that if is heated by the battery itself will turn into v***r with a flavor and the taste and smoke is much akin to the regular ci******es. The gist of the e-cigarette is that most people assume that this is unharmful to the health than the regular ci******es but the FDA lately had published an advisory that it still contain chemicals that is harmful to our body especially to the lungs. Thus e-cigarette now is said to be illegal on the Philippines and if you are questioning why today va**ng is conspicuous and had skyrocketed on recent years. It is also our concern that if E-Cigarette is made as an alternative to smokers who want to lessen or vanish smoking why do they not ban or abolish regular ci******es? Is it the fact that the government gains taxes by it? And as these E-ci******es are having these flavors which can be subjected to addiction and in my opinion E-cigar is prone to cause of addiction and mental health illness such as an irritated lungs or if a teenager had use the tendency if he's in class is that he'll be out of focus just waiting for a time when to sip and blow smoke of v**e. This is an alarming commercial in our industry for it's deleterious effects. How come they find alternative solution for smoking addiction if obviously it' ll result into another addiction and the excise tax on E-ci******es as a quick implementation isn't that helpful enough for they explained that the tax will be used for additional source of funds for universal health act and to overall improve public health like what's the point of this? We are just circulating and snipping money out of it like E-ci******es are not declared safe so if someone will be having complications the tax they paid will be their income for health bill? This e-cigarette and implementation is absurd.

By these concern we'll leave a note.
Addiction is inherited. Too much extreme is dangerous. If you don't want that to happen cease addiction by rehabilitation not by another addiction. Stop the practice. Discipline and love ones self. No to E-Vaping.
