L👀k >> This day has been momentous as Ms. Eidenwin Canoy, Top 10 of the recently concluded Licensure Exam for Agriculturists (LEA/ALE), paid a visit to the Horticulture Department and her undergraduate thesis adviser, Prof. Raul E. Margate, who remains the unbeatable Top 1 with the highest score by far in the history of LEA/ALE. Joining with them is another of Prof. Margate’s topnotcher advisee, Mr. Russel Van R. Roa, Top 2 in 2016, and now a newly-hired faculty of the Department. Spotted as well is Mr. James L. Fajardo, Top 5 of the ALE 2015, also an alumnus and a faculty of CMU.

The recent 3-day Licensure Exam for Agriculturists has proven time and again that it is one of the hardest board exams in the Philippines. Among the 10000+ examinees, national passing is 34.18%, while CMU with 407 brave souls --the largest group among LEA 2023 takers, ended up with 54.05% successful examinees.

Our very own CMU Horticulture Department takes pride of our Ka-Hortuss who did make it!
