KODO Day Three: Morimachi Mornings
Day 3 was A LOT of riding so we decided to split the whole DAY 3 video into two parts: morning and afternoon.
Here's part 1 with us and Chase's cam riding down the amazing Kodo trails in Mori-machi. Enjoy the view, these tracks are once-in-a-lifetime rides!

Our Visayas Head, Cebuano Chase Bantug breaks a tree branch (it was dead, we think) and takes on the steepy-steepness of Mori-machi's Kodo trail. 🏔 What an amazing, AWESOME place--sobrang swerte namin to ride here.

We spent a whole week in Japan recently, riding the ancient “Kodo” trails of the countryside—all hundreds of years old and rooted in the deep, rich history of Nippon 💯 🇯🇵

KODO Day Two: Shosenkyo Ropeway
DAY 2! We head to Shosenkyo Gorge--a tourist spot that is home to Bakuzaka Trail, a fast and spicy singletrack that cuts through the beautiful forests of Kofu, Yamanashi. It's a gondola ride to the top and then a DH ride back down through beautiful scenery and deep history.
The small town is exactly how you'd expect Japan's beautiful countryside to be: serene, welcoming, and full of energy! It was so close to Mt. Fuji as well, close enough to really feel the mountain's god-presence. 🏔
KODO Day One: Yamanashi
Invited for a once in a lifetime experience, we flew to Japan to ride the legendary and ancient "Kodo" trails. Over hundreds of years old, these tracks were used for many things throughout the history of Japan--by the samurais to the lords, the farmers to the craftsmen, and even the kamoshikas and the inoshishis.
Having been introduced to these mystical lines has transformed us deeply and we won't reveal too much in this four-part series. Not just to not spoil the surprises, but also to maintain the power of the experience out of a profound respect to the land, the energy, and the beings in it.
