π΅π What a triumphant return to IMAX! Avatar 2 - The Way of Water is a deeply emotional visual spectacle on family; and the importance of both the natural & fictional wonders of the world.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana's powerful performances glues together a rootable cast of characters with Sigourney Weaver & Britain Dalton standing out as Kiri and Lo'ak. Jack Champion's Spider is a scene stealer and Stephen Lang's returning villain Quaritch is badder than ever.
Kate Winslet and Cliff Curtis gracefully welcomes us to the Metkayina's way of water with Bailey Bass' Triseya taking us deep into Pandora's ocean to reveal an even more magical and diverse world all connected as one via the powerful Eywa.
Even though Edie Falco's General Ardmore disappears pre-climax, Jermaine Clement and Brendan Cowell's RDA marine biologist and hunter joins the battle in entertaining performances as characters having no choice but to comply to violent acts against marine species.
3hrs and 12mins worth it! I was so ready to shout and stand and cheer and clap at the end of the movie but no one in my screening was doing the same π. Would recommend and watch again in IMAX 10/10!! Go watch AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER! ππ
STRONG HEART! Never doubt James Cameron! A fantastic way to end the year! Thank you Avatar and 20th Century Studios.
