The libelous comics which is openly distributed by his political opponent even inside the capitol building does not only contain blatantly false claims against the vice governor, but is also discriminatory as it encourages people to hate certain communities of indigenous peoples.

In order to refute the claims in the comics strip, Mr. Rogelio Buhle, former internal auditor of Tam-an Banaue Multipurpose Cooperative and resident of Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya executed an affidavit detailing why the accusations are obviously false.
Among many others, Mr. Buhle debunked the false claims in the comics that Vice Governor Tomas instigated the murder of Pedro Hangdaan, former owner of the then Banaue Resort.
โI can state for the record that Mr. Jose Tomas Sr. was not among the suspects in the murder of Pedro Hangdaan. In fact, they were friends,โ Mr. Buhle said in his affidavit.
Vice Governor Tomas also added that contrary to the claims that former BOD member of Tam-an BMPC, Fr. Ferdinand Lopez went missing, he is very much alive and has been devoting his life to serving God.
โTimmawag ni Fr. Lopez nga tuktukuyenda idiay comics. Kunana, โWe find time to meet and we have coffee together,โโ he said.
The vice governor also encouraged everyone to say #๐ก๐ข๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก and #๐ก๐ข๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐ป๐ฒ๐๐.
