FInally had the time to play Tekken today, was playing as Akuma, the first time after 2 nights of no gaming and I was about to lose hope because
1. I'm in a demotion risk
2. Bryan won 2 rounds out of 3 while I have 0
3. I'm always put into rage

But what the heck, this is one of the sweetest clutch games you'd ever see!

ICYMI: AK returns fire against Jules at ICFC Week 9

In the final qualifying week for season 4 of ICFC, PlayBook Esports Team's Alexandre "AK" Laverez seizes the top spot with the return of his Akuma.

Week 9 was taken over by the Philippines as well, with both AK and Omega Esports' Jules fighting for the championship. Both players however first met in the winners finals where Jules took a 3-2 win with his Geese and Fahkumram over AK's Julia and Akuma.

In the lower bracket, AK daringly fought his way through ICFC rank 4 Kuzin from Japan, opting to bring out a surprise Devil Jin. Despite going against a known user of the same character, AK boldly forced the pick and ended up prevailing against Kuzin's Asuka and Heihachi with a close 3-2 win.

The surprises continue with AK's return to the grand finals where he brought out Leroy and was pitted against Jules' Bryan. Unlike with Devil Jin, AK found himself in shaky ground on Leroy and ended up yielding his first match completely to Jules.

Next up in AK's bag of tricks is Noctis. The swordsman worked well for AK, taking out Jules' Bryan in game 2, but it was a short-lived victory when he fell to Jules' Feng Wei in game 3.

With one set left before losing the tournament, AK decided it was time to bring out Akuma once again. Learning from their meeting in the winners finals, AK made the most out of the character, terrorizing his way through Jules' Feng for the tournament reset, and continuing his rein of terror against the Bryan and the Geese that Jules sent out afterwards, before finally claiming the last qualifying championship of the season.

ICFC returns next week, November 17, for the season finals where the top 8 in the regional leaderboard will be facing off for the season championship.
