Replacing the one i bought from taobao. I found it too small for me.

My curiosity with wood pla pushed me to do this as well.
Already tested a stain on the top but maybe i should use a walnut stain instead 🤔

Also dyed ribbons for the wrap. I dont want to use a satin / shiny one and leather or suede is too $ for me. But also too lazy to bias cut from a purple fabric 😂 so dyed a cotton ribbon instead lol. Dyed twice. And am really happy with the final dye results. Wanted an uneven dark edge and happy i was able to do it

RENFAIRE.PH WAS SO MUCH FUN.
We got to be as creative as we can get. If you attend music festivals, it gave that vibe more than the closed hall events in Manila or other SEA events. Everyone was so sociable. EVERYONE WAS SO RESPECTFUL TO THE FOREST. you wont see trash on random areas besides the proper bags or cans.
The temperature was right too. Even after trekking the steep slopes in style, we still got the energy to stroll around Baguio.
I should buy the night tickets too next time. Hopefully guests and night activities get announced earlier than ticket selling next time

Day 1: The most chill day. My fave day. The view is just new to the eyes. So much areas to explore. Booths are still full stock. Activities are just starting so lots of bard songs on the bg. Fewest attendees of the 3 days because of "Alipin ng Salapi", school or "unapproved leaves" lol. Best weather of the 3days, cloudy, good lighting for shoots but temps are just right.

Day 2: Most crowded. Rained a bit but not muddy. gg my unweathered-sealed cam. My fave outfit. Quite cloudy, barely blues in the skies. I probably enjoyed it more if I arrived earlier.

Day 3: Most renfaire-esque attires of attendees since theme is DnD and small people. Crowd isn't as plenty as Day 2. Activities are mostly awarding portions. You can feel that it is last day. Hottest of the 3 days but at least you can get that golden hour lighting.

Things to improve?
- probably offline ticket checking app? the ticket queue was a bit slow because signals were slow.
- maybe a sign hm the horse riding. until now i didnt know hm those were since staff was always preoccupied with assisting those using the horses.

but as an event overall, it was my fave of all those I attended even than FQ. I hope this will be a yearly thing.

Funny enough I bought him from HSUI but it came with the apple damaged and the tie seemed to be too long.
SO I had to modify it., bought a new apple, trimmed the tie, added wires to the collar and tie and added a stand so I can shoot him without having to hold him.
the apple has magnets on the bottom incase I make the other and I"ll have to just use one apple.

I really like vintage fashion. Specially the 60-80s.
Majority of my wardrobe were clothes from my mother.
Shift dresses are one of my faves. they look simple and comfy and doesnt accentuate the figure as much.

Regulus was the 1st character i got attracted in the game.
It was really fun to explore 1966 history.
Hopefully I can do some outdoor shoots in the future and also get some shots with a Canon Demi. I'm really curious to see photos though a lens that existed during that period.

Surprisingly I can make one this year.

I dont think 2023 was in any way a great year for me.
It got mentally exhausting all around
I didnt get anxiety attacks during the 2 events i attended tho so thats one positive thing.

Will be hand embroidering the dress details.. Experimented on different stitches but having to do almost a hundred triangles, i chose the most cost and time efficient.
I do like the expressionistic look of the other triangle tho. It needs 3 colors and not reallyrandom distribution of the colors. I got easily tired so i gave up.
