Diniwid Beach is a picturesque and pristine tropical utopia. This unhurried beach is a great antidote to the bustling tourist activities of Boracay’s White Beach. To reach Diniwid Beach, follow a waterfront trail at the foot of palm-clad cliffs. You’ll discover one of the island’s most beautiful yet lesser-visited coastal areas.

It’s easy to reach Diniwid Beach by walking for about 10 minutes from White Beach. From Cagban Jetty Port it’s a 40-minute drive by tricycle taxi. Visit the beach from November to April for almost perfect weather conditions and little rain, and between May and October to avoid Boracay’s peak season.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥

The Manila Cathedral is the most recent version of the long-standing Church of Manila. Built from 1954 to 1958 under the supervision of Filipino architect Fernando H. Ocampo, after the previous structure was flattened in the Second World War, it’s a masterpiece of architecture. Every detailed wall carving, door, panel, portal and even its attractive stained glass has its own story.

The cathedral serves both as the Prime Basilica of the Philippines and the highest seat of the archbishop in the country. It’s the final resting place for former prelates who have served the Archdiocese of Manila and was also used as a venue for requiem mass for former President of the Philippines Corazon Aquino.

Bulabog Beach is another popular beach on Boracay Island that is known for its unique features and exciting activities. Unlike White Beach, which is located on the west side of the island, Bulabog Beach is situated on the east side, facing the Sibuyan Sea.

Bulabog Beach stretches for 2.5 kilometers and is a haven for water sports enthusiasts. During the high season, which is from November to April, the beach is filled with colorful kites and windsurfing boards as athletes from around the world come to take advantage of the perfect wind and wave conditions.

An urban district and historic walled city within Metropolitan Manila, in the Philippines. The name, from the Spanish word meaning “within walls,” refers to the fortified city founded at the mouth of the Pasig River shortly after 1571 by the Spanish conquistador Miguel López de Legazpi.

Old-world Intramuros is home to Spanish-era landmarks like Fort Santiago, with a large stone gate and a shrine to national hero José Rizal. The ornate Manila Cathedral houses bronze carvings and stained glass windows, while the San Agustin Church museum has religious artwork and statues. Spanish colonial furniture and art fill Casa Manila museum.
