Last night, I promised myself better days. I still don't know for sure how I'd do it, but I know I deserve good things in life, too, so I decided I'm letting go of the things that hurt. That I'm forgiving myself for not becoming the person I always dreamed to be, that I'm starting from where I left off and not from where I began, carrying the bruises and scars with me along the way.

You see, I always believed in second chances but I learned that some things just stay broken no matter how hard we try to fix them. Like dreams. I also thought happiness is something you chase in life, but it isn't. It's something you choose. And I've gone tired of choosing the same things and the same people over the ones who really matter, so now, I'm taking a chance for those who really deserve it.

I hope things work out for the best.
I hope it's not yet too late.
I really hope with all my heart that it's a good day to dream again.

Pasilip sa pangyayari sa linggong ito. Ang hirap hirap na masaya. Naoverwhelm ako, kami, sa dami ng kailangan gawin pala pag may incident na nangyari. Hindi biro ang maging parte ng isang Incident Management Team. Sa totoo lang ninerbyos talaga ako nung unang araw. Saludo sa mga taong ganito ang ginagawa! Ang gagaling po ninyo! So thankful to be able to participate in this kind of training. Dami kong natutunan na lahat bago para sa akin. Sa mga mentors namin sa Basic ICS, a great big hug and a round of applause! 👏👏👏
