Similarly, Tarlac is named as the melting pot of the archipelago as it houses various races, ethnic groups, languages, and beliefs.

BINUKLURAN: Isang Siglo ng Tagumpay, Dekada ng Pag-Agapay, at mga Taon ng Patuloy na Kaunlaran, as the theme of the 117th Founding and 34th Universityhood Anniversary Celebration, symbolizes Tarlac State University's long history of solidifying and uniting communities through its efforts and capacity in building bridges.

"Empowered women, empower women!"

As we kick off the first episode of Tanghaling Ina, we present to you our guest, the president of the Tarlac State University-Supreme Student Council, Hon. Mikaela B. Laxamana.

Ms. Laxamana is currently a fourth-year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management at TSU. At present, she is the TSU Student Regent for the Academic Year 2021-2022, and the Director for Professional Service at Rotaract Club of Tarlac Metro Year 2021-2022. From 2019 to the present, she has been a consistent Leadership Awardee at the university. And, aside from her leadership responsibilities, Ms. Laxamana has also been a Gawad Kalinga Volunteer from 2018 to the present.

Minsang nasaktan at nagsabi ng “self-love” muna. It may have taken you an eternity to get back on track and open up your heart again.

And, like you, this woman was once SINGLE dahil nawalan ng sense of self love. Nakalimutan mahalin ang sarili kakamahal kay boyfie. But, she was able to glow again because she believes that she is a firefly, she’s courageous enough to have her own light and own wings to find her way back. Nag-iiwan ng kasabihang, “Ang pagmamahal ko sa ex ko parang ulam niyo kanina, UBOS NA!”

Just like you, our first “host reveal” is someone who has some things he wants to do on his own, and it is not because he is lonely or sad. Rather, it makes him feel more alive and powerful. Taking a few steps forward into knowing your heart means beginning a new chapter in your life as a single person. Most of us believe that being single is lonely and sad, but the truth is, some people find it more peaceful and satisfying than having someone by your side.

Some people are simply too hurt to love again. Others must have had a very dark and unimaginable experience to love. And being single and alone in their safe places gives people a sense of security.

Perhaps, most of you are just carefully walking through the path of your priorities in life. We all have different priorities in life, and it just so happens that relationships aren't always at the top of everyone's list. And that’s completely okay.

These reasons are just a glimpse of the different sentiments about why other people stay single. And these are some of the things our hosts, Sean Kobe Santiago, Camille Ann Carlos, and John Michael Esteban, have experienced firsthand.
