Turnover Ceremony | July 24, 2024

Matatalaib High School held a turnover ceremony to officially welcome Dr. Juvelyn L. Esteban as the new principal.

The outgoing principal, Sir Tito G. Ariola, delivered a short message and formally handed the reins of service to Dr. Juvelyn, which she gladly accepted.

Dr. Rene Miclat, the district supervisor, facilitated this significant event. Together with our visitors, OIC-PSDS, Dr. Rosauro M. Perez, English EPSvr, Dr. Reymar D. Pagiuo, and AP EPSvr, Dr. Rebecca Sotto, it was also attended by teaching and non-teaching staff.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Tito for his commitment and outstanding leadership. Regards, and God's blessings on your next adventure! Thank you, sir!

MHS's Filipino School Publication, Ing Talaib, grabs a spot in the School Publication Contest in the Division School Press Conference

Ing Talaib, the Filipino School Publication of Matatalaib High School (MHS), successfully secured the 7th spot in the Overall Standing School Publication Contest in the Division School Press Conference today, May 10, 2024.

With the supervision and support of the publication's advisers, Sir Geordan Jay Patio and Ma'am Liz Jele Camba, Ing Talaib won with flying colors in the following sections: 8th place in the news section, 9th place in the features section, 3rd place in the science and technology section, and 5th place in the layout and design section.

The MHS's English Campus Publication, spearheaded by Ma'am Renalyn Dela Cruz and Ma'am Bernadette Evis, The Reed, also won awards in succeeding sections: 10th place in the Science and Technology Section and the Layout and Design Section.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS EXHIBITION goes to MATATALAIB High School!

Mathians, are you ready for a thrilling Science exhibit experience?✨

Get your eyes and minds ready to be mesmerized as on May 6, 2024, the fourth-year students of the Association of Future Science Educators are set to conduct a Science Instructional Material (IM) Exhibition with the theme “AGHAMadness: Raising the Bar of Conceptual Science Through the Medium of IM Exhibit” at Matatalaib High School. This event will feature artistically and systematically crafted materials that can be used to foster a more engaging way of teaching Science across its various branches.

In addition, a four-part seminar series on Science and instructional materials will also be conducted for each grade level in junior high school. These undertakings aim to contribute to cultivating the minds of the learners invested in the field of Science, as well as to provide additional hands-on experience to the senior AFSEians in demonstrating Science IMs.

Arouse your inner Einstein and Newton as you witness Science concepts coming to life, and channel your inner future Science educators with the IMs and seminars prepared just for you. Together, let us unfold the mysteries and be immersed in the beauty and intricacy of the world of Science.

Kalkulado sa basket ng MHS ang dagdag na Pilak para sa Tarlac City sa ginanap na CLRAA 2024, Mayo 3, Brgy. San Vicente, bayan ng Victoria.

Sa tulong ng dedikasyon at hindi mapag-aalinlanganang karanasan sa laro ay naiuwi ng mga manlalarong sina Gabriel Basangan, Jero Cunanan, Reico Cura, at Jhan Aldrei Ibe ang Pilak sa kanilang muling pagsabak sa CLRAA.

We are [actually] aiming for the gold this year, since hindi ito ang unang beses na sasampa kami ng CLRAA, but Silver is a very good win para sa aming lahat. There's still room for improvement. Definitely mas paghuhusayan pa namin next year. Gusto ko lang din pong pasalamatan ang magulang ng ating mga players sa buong suportang kanilang ipinakita, hindi nila tayo iniwan since day one, dakal salamat po. - Allan Butz Surla, team Coach.

GSP NATIONAL TRAINERS CONFERENCE 2024

The annual gathering of GSP trainers from different regions and council was held last April 26-28, at Helena Z. Benitez National Program and Training Center in Tagaytay City.

The Conference's main goal is to share ideas, success stories, encountered challenges as well as explore more effective training methods.

It was guided with the theme: Transformative Training: Unlocking Potential, Embracing Change.

GSP Tarlac Council was represented by our very own Grade 9 teacher, and GSP Tarlac Council Commissioner on training, MRS. Daymal M. Almario.
