Protecting Competitive Integrity In Axie

Nagkaroon ng masusing imbestigasyon nitong mga nakaraang araw—3,000 replays ang pinanood at binusisi ng aming Community Protection team. Itong mga games na 'to ay mula sa mga high-ranking players. Nakita sa imbestigasyon na may mga nag-commit ng match-fixing.

Ang ginawa nila ay kapag nag-mamatch up sila sa isa't isa, hahayaan nalang nila na matapos ang laban sa isang "Draw" para maliit lang ang MMR na kaltas sa kanila imbis na may mabawasan ng malaki.

Dahil dito, 7 accounts/players at 210 Axies ang mapapatawan ng parusa.

Disciplinary Actions

- Lahat ng player sa listahan ay banned indefinitely sa pag-sali sa mga Axie eSports tournaments.

Disciplinary Action Justification
Nag-desisyon kaming mag ban ng mga Axies at tanggalin ang AXS rewards ng mga players na nag-violate ng Terms para ma discourage ang lahat na mandaya. Ang goal namin ay maramdaman talaga ang bigat ng parusa para hindi na ito ulitin o gawin pa nang iba. Maaalalang may ginawa kaming post noong January 1, 2022 na nag-silbing final warning sa lahat ng players tungkol sa aming 'zero tolerance' sa kahit anong klaseng pandaraya sa game.

Ang industry standard sa eSports ay ang pag-iissue ng indefinite bans sa mga players na nahuhuling nandadaya sa highest ranks. Naniniwala kami na ang 999 days na ban na ito ay magsisilbing signal para sa lahat kung gano kami ka-seryoso sa competitive integrity sa Axie Infinity.

Axie Chat recap:

1. Season 20 - Coming in 1-2 weeks.
2. Possible removal of SLP rewards in Adventure and Daily quest (50% of SLP minted every day).
3. Burning Mechanisms such as part upgrades, cosmetics, etc. are expected in the release of V3 (Origin).
4. Battle V3 (Origin) is set to release after S20 (Est. end of Q1, 2022).
5. We've surpassed 100k released Axies in the Lunar Year Event.

6. Crit system is totally different in V3. There are crits, but it's not as random.
7. V3 might include a FREE-TO-PLAY version of the game in the App Store and Google Store. (There will still be a Play-to-earn version).
8. Axie power-ups will be introduced in the new version of the game. (Part of the burning mechanism)
9. The team announced a new acquisition from Niantic (Maker of Pokemon Go) to help them build. (More announcement soon)
10. $RON one side staking will be released in Phase 2.

11. Sky Mavis received a lot of applications for the builder's program. They'll be building more game modes in Axie Infinity using Axie assets.
12. The team assured the public that they'll be doing improvements to address all the important issues.
13. There will be $AXS rewards for the Landholders.
14. There's great progress for the Rental/Lending/Borrowing system that they're building in the marketplace.
15. Governance - The team is studying the best approach for this. They want the favor to go to the majority of the community and not just from whales or big value holders.

16. For the future Axie battle balancing, there will be 3 phases. a.) Listen to the feedback or suggestions from the community. b.) The concerns will be forwarded to the game council composed of selected people from the community. c.) Send out a proposal that can be voted by the community.
17. Hypergrowth in the community is expected in the future that's why it's very important for them to establish the infrastructure first to overcome the growth. (To avoid what happened to the servers last July-Aug 2021).
18. According to Jihoz, a short-term solution is needed before the release of Origin (wherein most of the burning mechanisms will come from). a.) If the supply of $SLP is not enough in the release of the new game version, there will be changes in how $SLP is being issued to avoid overpriced Axies.
19. To ensure continued growth and demand, the team will also be investing in marketing campaigns to support it.
20. The team is already preparing for the release of Origin. They're making sure that the servers won't fail also with the introduction of the Free-to-play version of the game. (There will still be a Play-to-earn version).

Sky Mavis Announces "Axie Builders Program"

Through this initial experiment, Sky Mavis will provide resources, promotion, support, and tools for community developers to continue building compelling, valuable gaming experiences on top of Axie.

Benefits:
- A minimum $5k grant in AXS to go towards their project, with a total of 5,000 AXS (~$400k) in grants available for this program
- guidance from SM engineering
- guidance from SM game design and product
- exclusive access to integrations such as Ronin SSO, Ronin Network testnet, and Ronin Wallet
- promotion of their project by Sky Mavis to the community

Monetization is allowed:
- Payment by players is done in SLP or AXS
- At least 10% of all revenue must be burned (SLP) or go into the community treasury (AXS)
- The SM team will help with advising on monetization models, including entry fee prizes, leaderboards, or new NFTs.
