UM Tagum College concluded its 73rd Commencement Exercises with a graceful Recessional, beautifully captured from above by a drone. The Recessional featured the Board of Trustees, Officials of Administration, Principals, Deans, and Directors of Colleges, along with Awardees, Faculty members, Graduates, and their proud parents. The ceremony culminated with the UM Victory March, a fitting end to a day filled with achievement and celebration, showcasing the unity and pride of the UM Tagum community.

𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐌 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 | 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒's 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡

To my fellow graduates, remember this: there will be times when you doubt yourself and when success feels unreachable. But listen to those who believe in you—they see something in you that you may not see in yourself."

In an emotional and powerful speech, Sophia Ann Marie Lantaco, the batch 2024 valedictorian, delivered a message of hope, perseverance, and self-belief to her fellow graduates during the commencement ceremony.

Lantaco, who stood proudly as the top student of her batch, shared her thoughts on overcoming doubt and the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive individuals. Her message of "padayon" or "continuing on" in the face of doubt and adversity struck a chord with many, serving as a reminder that the journey to success is often challenging but not insurmountable.

As the graduates move forward into the next chapter of their lives, Lantaco’s words will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light, encouraging them to continue pursuing their dreams despite any obstacles they may face.

𝟓. 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 while maintaining formality and elegance.

𝟲. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽, 𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝘆 ones, especially for flash photography. Have your make-up ready outside of the school premises or at home.

𝟳. 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲, as we will be using a green screen for the photoshoot.
