SK โ San Miguel ML Tournament for the Linggo ng Kabataan 2021
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:
โญThe Brgy. San Miguel Mobile Legends Tournament is open to all-male, or all-female, or mixed teams.
โญKnockout system will be used for the elimination round.
โญThe championship game will be Best-of-5.
โญElimination round will be Best-of-3 games.
โญFinals will be Best-of-5 games.
โญThe entire tournament will be conducted online via livestream on the last week of August 2021.

Champion: 10,000.00
1st Runner Up: P 8,000.00
2nd Runner Up: P 5,000.00
3rd Runner Up: P 3,000.00
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS:
โญA player can only join one team.
โญThis tournament is exclusive only for players residing in Brgy. San Miguel, Tagum City.
โญPlayers must be available during the tournament dates (TBA once complete entries are finalize).
โญEach player should be a bonafide resident of Brgy. San Miguel, Tagum.
Age limit: 15-30yrs old.
โญOnly the registered players are allowed to play. Piloting is strictly prohibited.
โญThe ML ID and Username shall be submitted by the players during the registration period so it may be counterchecked during the tournament proper.
โญEach member of the team must bring their own mobile device with stable internet connectivity that can play MLBB (Internet connection is not provided during the tournament).
COMMUNICATION:
โญTo avoid miscommunication, the team captain or a representative of each team should join the official tournament group chat which will be created by the tournament director.
โญThe team captains should be present through joining in the provided group chat 5 minutes before their scheduled match.
โญAll announcements will be posted on the team captainโs group chat.
โญThe group chat is exclusive for one Team Captain or team representative for each team.
โญTeams with more than one representative on the group chat will be penalized.
โญNo outsiders should deal with internal discussions for the tournament.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
โญA team must consist of the following members:
5 main players (required)
1 reserve player or substitution/coach (optional)
โญOnce the tournament has officially started, the nominated/registered regular/reserved players cannot be replaced throughout the event.
LIVESTREAM
โญThe tournament will be streamed live on the SK โ San Miguel FB page and HEXA Metro E-Sports Community page.
โญEach match will be streamed based on the projected schedule of events to highlight the matches of each participating teams.
โญAll the players are required to like and share the stream.
โญAll the players are required to like and follow the SK-San Miguel and Hexa FB pages.
SCHEDULES / TIMING OF MATCHES:
โญPlayers will be advised about the schedule of the game matches through a Facebook announcement on the page and via the team captainโs group chat.
โญOnly the Tournament Director or Admins can alter schedule and timing of matches depending on the situation during the tournament proper.
โญPlayers will be advised of the schedule and timing of matches through the Team Captainsโ group chat.
However, teams should always standby in case some teams wonโt show up during their designated schedule so that the live stream will be continuous and uninterrupted.
โญEach team will be given a 5-minute waiting time before the actual match. The tournament administrators will advise when the waiting time should start or when the match should begin.
BRACKETING:
โญThe bracketing will be announced during the official meeting of the team captains.
TECHNICAL ISSUES:
โญTeams are responsible for their own technical issue (hardware and internet connection problems).
โญMatches will not be rescheduled due to above-mentioned issues and will go on nevertheless.
2-minute pause time will be given to each team per game. Each team are only allowed to pause the game twice.
If maximum pause time and/or delay is exceeded, the game will continue even if the issues are unresolved.
GENERAL CONDUCT:
โญPlayers are expected to conduct themselves and compete with the spirit of sportsmanship, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor in activities involving other participants and public in general.
โญBreach of Rules, Foul language, offensive and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated from any players and may lead to disqualification of the player/team from the tournament.
โญThe organizers have the right to apply appropriate penalties, disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the tournament, at their discretion, at any stage of the tournament.
โญCheating doesnโt need to be successful to qualify as a violation. Conspiring to cheat is already a violation and will lead to an automatic disqualification for all conspirators.

DISQUALIFICATION
โญTo maintain fairness during the tournament, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify teams.
โญTeams found partaking in the following scenarios will be disqualified from the tournament:
โญDeliberate stalling of the game can result in losing that game or series entirely.
Deliberate leaving of a match before it ends can result in a forfeit and winning point awarded to the opposing team.
โญUsage of exploits or third-party programs/cheats will result in player and/or team disqualification.
โญUnsportsmanlike conduct (Toxicity in chat, excessive bad manners, physical violence, etc.) will result in player and or team disqualification.
โญBetting or match fixing will result in player and or team disqualification.

โญTeams must report the results after each match to the tournament admins
Format: Game match number, team match, and result (Example: Game 1, Visayan vs Cuambogan Winner: Mankilam)
โญNo Show
No show participants will automatically lose. The score will be added to the opposing team.
Should a team be absent and uncontactable during registration or attendance taking phase, that team will be marked as late and will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.
Match
โญPlayers and teams are expected to report to the marshal when called upon as soon as possible. If a player or team isnโt present at match time after 5 minutes, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify.
โญThe team captain will be given a choice to start the match as 5 players or less, or forfeit the match.
โญThe player who is late is not allowed to rejoin the current match series.
Any action that results in an unfair advantage is illegal. This includes bug abuse or third-party programs
โญMatch-fixing is not allowed. Should any match-fixing be found out, both involved teams will be disqualified.
โญAll participants are always expected to uphold exemplary standards of conduct. Inappropriate, rude or unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated. Participants who fail to comply will be strictly dealt with.
In-between series
โญPlayers are recommended not to go on breaks in between matches in a series
Players are to take note that there MAY be no breaks during a match and/or after a game, thus advised to fully make use of downtime in between rounds to prepare for the next match (Toilet breaks, food, etc.)
โญShould a player need to take a quick break, seek out an admin or marshal through discord.
Players must remain contactable throughout the tournament (entire day).
Disconnections
โญIn any scenario should a player or more leave before a winner has been determined due to an internet issue disconnection, that player(s) team forfeits the match, and may be subjected to disqualification.
โญIn any circumstances where there is a disconnection/phone crash/application crash, a team may call out a marshall or admin to pause the game within the limited time.
โญPlayers MUST return to the game as soon as possible and continue playing.
โญIf in any scenario, in the organizerโs opinion that prevents the match from being decided properly, the โre-matchโ must be played with the same draft.
It is the responsibility of players to call out to a marshal should these situations occur.
DISQUALIFICATION
โญAs stated above, the tournament organizers have the right to disqualify any player that does not comply with the rules.
It is strictly prohibited for a player to use any third-party software modifying the game functionalities or principles.
If the presence or use of a prohibited software is detected, the concerned player will be banished of any current and future tournaments.
โญThe player and their belongings will be removed from the tournament and the cash prize earned, if any, will be cancelled.
The organizer reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without giving prior notification or any reasons thereof.
OTHER DETAILED RULES & TECHNICAL ASPECTS:
โญThe tournament directors and administrators should have a symbiotic relationship with the players. Thus, everyone should value respect during the tournament at all times.
โญAll participants will be advised of other rules or technical aspects of tournament prior to start of competitions
โญThe tournament director and administrators have the right to disqualify players or teams who will not abide by the rules and mechanics.
โญMore tournament details and rules will be formulated during the official tournament meeting with the team captains.
